well, it makes me feel less alone in the insomnia that accompanies working on this novel. Not that I'm getting a ton of writing done while I lay awake... but I can't stop thinking about the book regardless.

You know, for all my ex-husband's insanity, there is one thing I miss about being married, and that's having someone to take care of me when I'm sick. He was actually really good at that.

I've had a relapse of my pneumonia since I only gave myself 5 days to recover from it, and then had to fly to DC, come back and do some work, babysit, and then be in a parade. Uhm... yeah... it may have been unwise to proceed with my agenda. A little. Luckily I have a few days now where I can just crash. Man... pneumonia is nothing to mess around with.

Wow, RA... who knew pneumonia was contagious through teh internetz? So sorry. I wouldn't wish this illness on anyone. I'm sick as the proverbial dog. Complete with cracktastic dreams again. God damn, I hope I won't need more antibiotics. Fucking hate those things.

Kristjan... Dearest, sourdough was INVENTED in San Francisco. It is the absolute heart of good sourdough. If you haven't eaten SF Sourdough, you just haven't lived! : )
