6. Favourite character in a story?Definitely Miles Vorkosigan from Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan Saga.
4. Has a book ever made you want to go on holiday?Oh, yeah. Paris in Love This is a memoir of the famous romance writer Eloisa James. She spent a year in Paris, and as I read it, I wanted to go there and retrace her steps. Paris through the eyes of a romance writer - what could be better. A delicious book.

How about Glamour in Glass.I noticed that when someone puts a book cover in the message instead of a link, when I roll my mouse over it, only the title comes out but not the author. I have to click on the book to see it in a separate window to learn the author's name. I wonder if it's something in my setting or it's common to GR?
Book cover does make a difference. Of course there are good books with bad covers and the opposite is also true, but a good cover definitely attracts attention, intrigues you into opening the books. At least for me, it does that, together with the back blurb.I would like to ask your opinion about my book cover but I don't know how to insert an image here. The book isn't published yet, but the artist has already done her job.

I just read a very powerful book - a retelling of The Goose Girl fairy tale - Thorn. I'm not sure of its paperback price but I bought the Kindle addition for 4.99. I think it deserves a group read.

22. Mostly romance, fantasy and mystery. Rarely sci-fi, mainstream and non-fiction. Never thrillers.
19. Agatha Christie's Parker Pyne Investigates. A fabulous book of short stories by the grand dame of mystery.
15. Paperbacks, definitely. I just bought an e-reader. Perhaps after I try an e-book, I'll like it better, but for now - paperbacks. Hardcovers are too big and too expensive.
