And I'll try to appreciate all the "extras" in the tape when I am unsealing the package!"Well, of course I'm hoping everyone will enjoy the book. It's not your typical HR. It's not light and fluffy, but it's still a compelling story.
But if all else fails, Lisa Kay and Pamela are quite entertaining ;)
Lisa Kay wrote: "Flesh?! Good, I can clone you."Good heavens! Do you really think the group (or the world) could handle more than one of me??

Pamela(AllHoney) wrote: "I'm sure it was a worthy battle!"I'm glad my kids didn't video tape it. I am not kidding when I tell you that before bed last night, I was picking bits of packaging tape from my clothing AND MY HAIR!!!
Seriously! Last time I buy packaging tape at the Dollar Store. That stuff had a mind of its own, and it didn't want to be stuck on book wrapping.Geez! There's lint, fuzz, maybe some dog hair and I wouldn't be surprised if there's bits of my flesh there, too. What a mess!

Okay! The books have shipped. Please let me know when you get them.On a side note: You'll notice when the book arrives it might look as though I was in a battle with the packaging tape. That's because I was in a battle with the packaging tape. Obviously, because the packages got shipped, I won said battle. But it was close.

Historical, yes, but I'm not sure how it's relative to the ad slogan, what happens in vegas stays in vegas...

Hey, everyone! I'll be hosting a Buddy Read of Jennifer McQuiston's What Happens in Scotland, beginning April 6th here in the Happily Ever After Cafe.
Here's a link to my review in case you're interested: Dhes' Review of What Happens in Scotland
Book blurb:*****
Lady Georgette Thorold has always been wary of marriage, so when she wakes up next to an attractive Scotsman with a wedding ring on her finger, it’s easy to understand why she panics and flees. Convinced that Georgette is a thief, her may-be husband, James McKenzie, searches for her. As both try to recall what happened that fateful night, they begin to realize that their attraction and desire for each other is undeniable. But is it enough?
Fans of Sarah MacLean and Mary Balogh will enjoy this utterly charming historical romance from award-winning author Jennifer McQuiston that features unforgettable characters and a satisfying mix of adventure and passion.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to talking about this book with you!
