That's exciting, Suzanne. I am going to get a degree in 2D animation (a way different field from what I work in now). Good luck to you in school.

29443 Looks fine to me, Shona. Just add the dates read when you finish the books regularly or at the end of the challenge.

29443 I really liked Brooks as well.

29443 Hi Natalie. It's one book per subject, although Music is an exception. If you read five audiobooks, you can count five books as music. Just specify that they are audiobooks.

29443 Way to go, Tina Theresa!

29443 Oh, I didn't even think about all those A's!

You could do Option A and still qualify for the Tertiary Studies by reading 14 or more books, and do Option B at the Secondary Level, or do a double degree plan.

29443 For Option B, you can create your own degree to spell out (10 letters or over). It should not be one already listed.

Is there a part I can clarify for you? Sorry if it's confusing you. Sometimes I don't know how well the challenge will work until we try it, but I hope to make it as smooth as possible for the participants.

Hi Netanella, you would have to pick a double major if you want to use a shorter degree option and you're going for Tertiary Studies as your Educational Level. Does that make sense?

29443 I finally read Kiss of Snow, and it was excellent. I'm glad that Sienna got her Hawke tamed, and the progression of the story has me as hooked as ever. I am still more of a Psy fan, but I do love the Changeling/Psy pairing. I think it's a bit stale when they are both Changeling.

What are you reading in PNR?

29443 If you're like me, it's going to be hard to pick a hero that made your August sizzle.

Who are your candidates for August?

I agree with you almost 100%. I think the reason why I still love Kylemore is because he was so damaged, I don't think he was doing it just because but out of a heart sickness.

I agree! I can deal with a lot more if I see a change or redemption in the hero.

Yes, I love to see a hero changed/healed by love.
29443 We are totally on the same page, Faiza. I don't like when the hero is condescending to the heroine at all.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense that a possessive hero would be okay with sharing at all.
29443 I wouldn't say my tastes have changed that much, honestly. I am not tolerant to abusive heroes, but I guess I'm even less tolerant. I don't like my heroes too kinky either. I don't care for heroes who rape, but I admit I can make an exception if the hero is well-written. Kylemore from Claiming the Courtesan.

I still love edgy, dangerous heroes with a touch of ruthlessness to them. Ice cold, but hot when it comes to their women.

I don't care for the BDSM, but I do like when the hero is sexually demanding in bed (although nothing kinky or painful), if that makes sense. I love a hero who is crazy for his heroine. Very possessive and jealous is my thing. A hero who wants to share his heroine sexually doesn't work for me at all.

I still like the honorable hero with a dangerous side just as much.

So I think I'm still about the same when it comes to dangerous heroes.
29443 I realized, we don't talk about DHs nearly enough on this group. That's something that needs to change. Gotta have love for the bad boys on this group! Good time to ask this question.

Do you still like your dangerous heroes the same flavor or have you changed in your tastes lately?

Love to hear your thoughts on this.

29443 Welcome, Sophinisba!
