29041 Felix- you could not have said it better. With so many new authors coupled with a myriad of subjects, it is so necessary and most helpful. As an avid reader, I would welcome more tags to authored books. I can't understand what the downside could be.

29041 Felix- As you know, I am not an author; but simply, just an avid reader. I lack experience in groups under the auspice Goodreads. I joined GR and this group in search of great novels, as well as having a little fun online with other interested parties - when the mood strikes me. :) I also joined 2 groups yesterday that were outlined, before I saw the words of concern. /////// Hopefully, I am not the only naive person in this group who does not understand the what, or purpose of political bashing, nor the reference to a lurker" in this particular arena. Is this a common behavior that is directed from invisable authors to authors? I do not understand the gain, or damages. Tell me, what ultimate prize could be so important to attract this climate?

29041 Felix...Thank you! You just made "life a little easier for authors" today. What an outstanding task you took on. I hope it wasn't too long. And another job well done. Although I am not an author; you make it quite easy to choose books that may not show up on specific lists. Thank you again, Stacey

29041 I second that!

29041 Not really- Still think Jeff Cohen is adorable. :) //// I love his moral character and his intelligence. Love the fact that b/c he is also an art restorer; with each book I gain the historical knowledge of new artists I lack, who are the old masters. I wish he would restore a Jackson Pollack :)

29041 I'm going with Gabriel Allon.

29041 Feliks... Your work is awesome. Well done my friend. As the minutes go by, we see it paying off.

29041 You both get credit. 50/50

29041 Love the leather jacket. What was the last spy novel you read?
Jan 08, 2015 07:34PM

29041 Last time they asked me to take off my blazer, I wouldnt and couldnt do it. The issue was there was nothing underneath. No can do. They put me in the other line w/ a pat down before the scan. If I walked away, Im sure they would would go into lock down mode. And Im a tailored nice looking girl. Who would think I would ever want to be a spy- they think I want to be a princess. :)

29041 I may have read your comment to fast, but Im referring to the stiletto knife in the shoe from To Russia w/ Love, which I did not see as well. The pat down isnt the problem. That happens if TSA finds something in ur carry on, or in the body scan. I would like to say I would be a little more resourceful; which would mean I would need my own plane, or other means of private transportation which would exclude "security checks".

29041 Curious if you used the "knife" as a response prompt, which worked in my case; or........ you havent been through the X-Ray Scan at airport where you dont take off shoes, belts,or empty ur pockets. Wont work.

29041 Correct- not unlike the Kings and Royalty who had food tasters as well.

29041 I get it. Too bad; although if I were in my busy mode now, I would not be able to respond.

29041 Many of my friends comment about all the Mossad books I read- while they read a lot of the trashy novels for their spice. Good point re X-Ray. Will have to develop something new. BTW... why is it that you and I and Felix are the only ones who play in this Q&A forum? Dont tell me no-one wants to give away their secrets.lol

I met him before he passed away, and he told me this. I never asked what his disguise was. Certainly didnt look like much in the movie.

29041 I would like to think I should bring a knife with a very sharp blade, and a few syringes with fast acting sedatives. Before leaving I might contemplate where to hide a tracking device, or consider swallowing it. There was a surgery done where tiny cameras were inserted in the back of the eyes, which were tracked by other operatives. I believe I am reading way too much fiction, and especially being a female.
