Provos, is one of the few I can conjur. Du'oh!"
Been racking my brain.
Really, I wish I was a member of MENSA. :) but I have never
heard the IRA being referred to "politically" as anything other than that.
I assume you watched the movie "The Foreigner" with Jackie Chan. Nothing there?

The airmen were call..."
Looks good Patrick.
Congrats on the new book. Putting it on my list.

Thank you so much for sending this.
I really appreciate the gesture.
The fact that the two men are related -is wild. I do not believe in coincidences. :)
Really looking forward to this one.
I enjoyed "Operation:Finale' though I commented on casting parts you sent me before the movie came out.

Im afraid to fly, though I do it under duress. Husband bought it for me as a quasi -gag gift.
Im a skeptic, so I took it to be checked out, just in case. :)
Never used it, but saw the cords are Paracord.
Name was on the emergency cord.

Felix- Im sure you wont be surprised at the following experience I had. :)
I was fortunate to have had a lunch date with Peter Malkin before he passed away. I was coming from the gym to meet him. I then dropped him off at his hotel and said I would pick him up at 4pm for his speaking engagement, but told him he wouldn't recognize me when Im cleaned up.
He laughed and said "Ah- Stacey, you forget - Im a spy.
I have already found a physical feature on you that you probably aren't aware of that will validate who you are."
How awesome is that? He would never tell me what that feature was!
We know movies are not always accurate as their books- for obvious reasons. "Operation Finale' " was good, but his book was great.

Not sure he would agree with Kissinger's account of the SS Mayaguez tragedy. Some believe he pressed Ford to act -too hard to fast.
I agree with everything you wrote.. Im sure he has no interest playing on GR.
Quite a busy author and journalist.
Yet on the flip side, if I were an author, I would keep insurance on my fan base.
Readers can "sometimes" be emotional :) and a tad fickle.
Given the world climate these days, one simple slip of a word during an interview or in an article, could turn his readers off on a dime.
Gonna try anyway.
No downside.

Evidently...a most involved and busy man.
None the less, Im going to "try" and ask.
Should he decline; so be it.
Many fabulous authors take part on GR. :)

I will ask.

"Rise and Kill First.."
He has just won an award from National Jewish Book Council
for his book in the category of History.
Well deserved.

Appreciate it!!!
btw..how do you know Sasha Cohen speaks fluent Hebrew?
Didnt see it in the article.

Thank you.
Looking forward to the series.

I'm pretty surprised to hear that! You have a long and winding road ahead of you, for sure.
With LeCarre, only one piece of advice: you need to read chronologically. Starting with '[book:Call ..."
Thank you Felix- forgot to write that JLC books should be read in order.
There are so many series.
I remember Alex Berenson whom I liked; Nelson DeMille, though I cant remember my opinion, as I havent read any new novels in years. Liked the two Howard Kaplan novels. I know you know one is being made into a movie.

Good author- I would also recommend John le Carre, Alan Furst, and Jack Higgins.

After that operation in Buenos Aries, many of the team wrote books
about how "they" were the one who grabbed him from the street into the car.
I had the honor of meeting him bf he passed away in NYC.

Ben Kingsley was cast to play Adolf Eichmann and Oscar Issac was cast to play Peter Malkin.
Im reserving judgement until after.....
