The American book store she uses in Amsterdam seems to get books really early, and the let her know last week that her pre-order was in. Madness!Oh, and Payne - I want to know a lot more about Payne. I want her and V to meet. I figure this must happen in LM if her book follows it. We have to know her better before we get to her book.
*** Series spoilers ***Ugh... I'm so jealous that Mel has already gotten her hands on this, but I'm holding out hopes for getting an early copy myself. ;)
But on to what I want from this one. I am looking forward for a J.M. is Darius reveal, a big showdown with J.M., Xhex and Lash (although I don't want him killed off - he's to intriguing of a nemesis). I want a scorching hot relationship for J.M. and Xhex and for them to both be inducted into the Brotherhood. I want as much Qhuinn and Blay as I can get, even if I have to accept that it won't be them together - yet. I want more Z, and with his bond with J.M., I'm optimistic I'll get my fair share. I want more Rehv - can't get enough of him. Ugh... I just want more of everything. A year between books is too long, even as much as I enjoyed Covet, I'd take two BDB releases over them any day.

Semi-Annual - Catch Up Challenge
Patricia Briggs:
Karen Chance:
Since I have both of these authors' books listed in other challenges, there's a good chance I'll be able to complete this. ;)Patricia Briggs:
Karen Chance:
Jennifer, I think I'm going to read Patricia Briggs as well, as I haven't read any of her fantasy stuff, but recently picked a few up for another challenge. In doing so, I discovered that
is no longer in print and copies go for astronomical prices on eBay and the like. So.. you may have trouble with that one, but she's apparently rewriting it for a rerelease. =)From her site:
"Instead of immediately moving on to the next Alpha and Omega novel, I'm going to spend some time re-writing my first novel, Masques and it's unpublished sequel Wolvesbane. I love the characters in those early books, and I've always wanted to go back and try to do a better job of telling their stories. This should be fun!"
Ugh... Shift is one my most anticipated releases for this year. I just read the first chapter she posted on her forum the other day and it's a great start, leaving me even more impatient. ;)
