I'm glad you enjoyed the book, Marianne! I loved the part with the double m&m as well—probably because I love m&ms! I also liked watching the relationship between Joe and Ravi grow and develop throughout the book. I think what you said in your comment rings true for most relationships: We all have more in common than we realize.

Oh, awesome! That's so exciting! Have you seen the movie yet? I'm curious to hear how you think it compares to the book.

That's awesome, Kennedy! I'm glad you enjoyed the book. Do you think you'll read any of the other books in the series?

I loved that part, too! Joe definitely knew how to use Dillon's bullying against him.

I really enjoyed the book too, Arnav; it was my first time reading it! If you go see the movie, let us know how it compares to the book!

That's awesome, Kennedy! You'll have to let us know what you think!

Also if Nevermoor is a series, I would really want to..."
Hey, Arnav! Thanks so much for sharing your favorite words from Nevermoor with us! Bazaar has always been one of my favorites.
I'm pretty sure that Nevermoor is going to be a series, but I have a feeling we'll have to wait a little while before the next one comes out since Nevermoor has only been out for a few months. I do know that the movie rights for it have been purchased though, which is very exciting! We may get to see Morrigan and Jupiter on the big screen!

Reading your favorite names made me start to think about nicknames in general, and how Jupiter thinks that everyone needs a nickname.
To everyone in our group: do you have any nicknames? Any interesting or fun stories behind how you got them? My friends like to call me Mo :)

The second question Morrigan was asked was "What is your biggest fear?" and she quickly wrote, "That dolphins will learn to walk on land and shoot acid out of their blowholes." (which made me laugh out loud) After her paper started to burn though, she had to think of a truer answer, one she had buried deep down.
I got to thinking about how I would answer that same question—roller coasters, snakes, whitewater rafting (I know I'm a wimp). But I suspect my page would probably start burning too, just like Morrigan's did. So how would you answer that question? Do you think you would pass the Book Trial? I'm not sure I would.

That's one of my favorites by Kate DiCamillo! Such a wonderful story!

You'll have to let us know what you think of it!

Hi, Devika! Thanks so much for chiming in! I think that both of those are excellent suggestions. I really enjoy historical fiction, and WWII is such a fascinating time period.

Oh, yay! I'm so happy you loved the book! I think the question "What if?" is very empowering, and I've been trying to use it my daily life to confront difficult things or to push myself to try new things.

The Tale of Despereaux was the first Kate DiCamillo book I ever read and I adored it. It was also the first book I ever read that addressed the reader so directly, and I thought that was so fun.
