If they use their heads they should be able to find Doug on GR or FB since he uses the same name everywhere. He'll be able to lead them here.

The old forum looks sad and deserted. It's like a post-apocalypse ghost town. Doug can be the hero of our story, gathering up the wayward and bringing them to a fresh new world.

Yes, this is the main one.

I hope Perriwinkle finds her way here to start the Weekend Reading thread.

I miss-

Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane
League of the Black Swan by Alyssa Day
Gentleman Bastard Sequence by Scott Lynch
The Aeronaut's Windlass..."

I really miss Downside Ghosts. It's so different. In the beginning I had my doubts about it but somehow it drew me in.

Anything by Jim Butcher except comic books.

have to tell you trying to figure this GR out...."

I think of it like this:

GR Read, Reading... is akin to the PNR forum on Amazon.
General Discussion, Who am I?, etc. are like the threads on the Amazon forum.

Yeah, it shows a book I started but never finished. It's suppose to update from my Kindle but that only works when I turn on wireless so....

222868 I read The Hunt and liked it. It wasn't her greatest book and it felt like a bridge book between story arcs.

Then I read/listened to Immortally Yours. It was better than the last couple of books in the series but it still didn't have that spark of the first books.

Sometimes the author spends too much time explaining or justifying things. Like why Beth has her arms full when leaving her apartment. I kept expecting something bad to happen on her way to the car while she had her hands full, but no. And then she had to explain the box of food again later. I thought the food was important, like maybe it had been poisoned, but no, it was just a box of food.

222868 Good Morning.

Apparently there is announcement on the Kindle Help forum:

"We are always looking for new ways to make it easier for our customers to find answers to their Amazon product questions. Starting the morning of October 9th , Pacific Standard Time, we will be introducing an improved forum experience, with expanded discussion categories. With this update, customers will now have more choices, the opportunity to post rich content (like photos and videos), view and post from their mobile devices, and identify forum experts with new badges.

We look forward to your feedback on the new forums!"

222868 Look what I found. https://www.amazon.co.uk/forum/parano...

It's the PNR forum on the UK site. It "appears" to be unused and it doesn't look like the UK forums are being retired.

222868 It looks like Vinity got the last word in the Amazon PNR forum.

1300 pages?! That's bigger than the Outlander books.

222868 Hi all. This looks good.

I'm still reading Silver Silence. Haven't gotten much reading in today but the day's not over yet.
