1. If you're on the new book page, you can, and should, click on the "see more" at the end of the listed tags. If childrens (or related tags) shows up in those last couple posts, that WILL apply to your book.
2. If you're on the old book page, your genres should be okay if they are embedded - that is, if the genre on the page says "War>World War II," the embedded genre, World War II should still be okay with the new page. "War" on the other hand, may not be there.
3. And speaking of childrens books, because it's not clear how they're choosing the tags to show, you have to include related tags as "childrens" for purposes of requiring ARBF scores, and for not using a book in a task that doesn't allow childrens books.
The tags that we've seen are Middle Grade, Juvenile, Chapter Books, Storytime, Young Readers, Childrens Classics, School Stories. There may be others - however, you can't assume that this is now a loophole to the childrens books rule - the tags have expanded. This may not be a problem in the long run - perhaps books tagged like this will also be tagged Childrens - but I have seen Middle Grade standing alone as a tag, without the "parent" category of "Childrens."
Understand, we are doing the best we can to manage unexpected and sudden change. We need your cooperation to help us manage this.
We are working on how to revamp things for the fall challenge, but there's not a lot we can do right now except the best we can!
