oh, i saw angelic layer at the store, and almost got it! but it started at book three, and to start you at least need book 1 or 2. sadness.

yeah, but it might not make any sense without the rest of the series. the first series (or first half, depends on how you categorize it) is better than the second half. sae is honestly at her peak a the beginning, and in the second half, she's just a ball of mess. then there's momo, she seems like she just bounces between boys there at the end. then no one talks about their feelings while they are dating momo in regards to breaking up. geez! speak your mind, then maybe you wouldn't have to try to pick up the pieces after she finally makes a choice.

uh, avatar is awesome. though i only ever watch it with my sisters. i was once so bored i saw likw 4 hours of degrassi. awesome theme song, but a really weird group of kids.

very true. you have to have some key types of characters to get the shojo in there, otherwise it's just not the same.

i have some like that too. borders will order them for you if it's still in print. but that's honestly the key, it still has to be in production, otherwise they can't get it for you.

you could go to a speciality store. i do that too. i have to make a wishlist for tomorrow. with all of the booksales going on, i have to go in prepared to buy! lol! what i really need is a magical bookshelf that doesn't take up space, but i can add books to. let's face it, between school and my little obessession, i have a ton of books.

it was, then i disagreed with the direction higuri took with it. to top it off, i thought she focused too much on the supernatural side of the story, leaving charcter development high and dry.

lol! i give my family pictures of the books i want, then they take them to the store to double check that it's what i asked for.

yeah, that's true for the majority of the series i'm reading. i need to get back on the ball about knowing what series get released what month. that way i don't spend energy looking for volumes that aren't even out yet.

lol. i have thought about selling the ones that i don't want to complete, or don't like anymore. i hope that my sisters or boyfriend would want all my books when i die, but if not, i hope they get donated to a library or something. that way lots of people can enjoy them. it's a shame when books don't get read.
