I'm heading off this morning to Amsterdam for a week, then down to Barcelona for a few days and then a long slow cruise from there to Istanbul, hugging the coast all the way so each day I can get off explore some interesting place :)Its over thirty hours to get from Australia to Amsterdam, with flight times and airport connection waits.
Some amazing family history there Darya. I also find the Eastern Front an amazing subject to read about.

I'm a bit like 4ZZZ, read a general history of a subject and then follow up with further reading on specific events, battles or campaigns.
