2051 Ugh, I've been slacking far more on reading this year than I ever dreamed possible. I'm up to 65 right now, which is still better than I was doing in 2007 at this time (54), but further behind than I've been any year since then. Especially 2009. I'd rather be gradually increasing the number of books I get through per year.

2051 Zee, you are so right. Borges' collected short stories would probably be my ideal re-read.

Now, if I were going to go with something new, that's a good question. My to-read list is so large and tantalizing! It might have to be the recent'The Metaphysics of the Incarnation', edited by Marmadoro and Hill; I've been salivating over that since I first heard it was coming out.

2051 There are a precious few friends whom I'll permit to borrow my books, and even then, generally only the reasonably priced ones. (More for their benefit than anything else, since they know better than to damage any of them - inadvertently or otherwise - without promptly funding their replacement.)
