2051 Okay, get to reading! You haven't updated for 28 days! That's almost a month!

What book are you on right now?

2051 Only one more to go! Exciting!

Will you do another one?

It's only my favorite book ever written. :) Tim has never read it so we're trying to read it together, even though we're ..."

Okay, so I JUST got this comment. For some reason or other, Goodreads is slow! :)

I'm waiting for a $1.00 copy to float my way so I can read it. It seems like all Catch-22 reprints are $566,948! Anyway, enough numbers.

2051 5. Fashion Inside Out: Daniel V's Guide to How Style Happens from Inspiration to Runway and Beyond by Daniel Vosovic. (Definitely for fashion industry insiders. Not for novices like me.)

2051 3. A Cook's Tour by Anthony Bourdain. (a re-read)
4. High on Arrival by Mackenzie Phillips. (What a book!)

2051 1. Oddity Odyssey: A Journey Through New England's Colorful Past by James Chenoweth.
2. That Extra Half An Inch by Victoria Beckham.

Thanks for the suggestions, Janice! I'll check them out!

Oh you HAVE to read Rant. It was published in 2007, so it's definitely after Diary (one I haven't read). I have 4 of his on my bookshelf waiting to be read, so I understand where you're at! :)

That's what I've heard about Krakauer. I have Into the Wild on my bookshelf, so I'll add it to the top section of the "to-read" list. If it's intensly sad, then I might have to give it up!

I've already read Lullaby (for a college course!), and Invisable Monsters is on my "to-read" list. I'm pretty sure I have all of his books on my bookshelf, ready to read.

Thanks for all the comments - It's nice to know people read your posts! :)

2051 Yep, Palahnuik's is the one I'm referring to. Such an interesting book!

I am totally with you, Michael! I lost interest almost immediately. Another Goodreads member suggested it to me as one of Meyer's "decent" reads. I can understand how they would think it's better than the Twilight series, but I'm still not a fan of sappy, sappy girls. :)

Thank you for the suggestion, Josh! I'll definately look into it, however, I'm not a huge fan of military-based reads. I tend to feel lost and not in the loop with the culture. Is it for the outsider as well?

Okay, okay! Yes, I knew it was a part of a trilogy. I have both of the other books, any they are on my short-term list to read. I am excited to read them!

I added those two by Erik Larson. I'm excited!

No, really, you're completely right about Germs, Guns and Steel. I don't think I can finish. I might just skip around and call it a day. I don't think I can make myself read every page.

Thanks for the suggestions!

2051 I've never read Catch-22. Have you started yet? How is it?

You're completely right, Leigh Anne. For those that are serious about finding a book to read, I always begin by asking them what they'v enjoyed reading in the past. It's no use just throwing titles out there in hopes that might share the same interests as you. (Been there, tried that.)

I'm so over mysteries in general. Too much junk to go with the main storyline. It's too much to keep up with! :)

2051 I don't think I have a favorite type of book. I'm trying to read as many of the "classics" as possible. I missed quite a few of them at my junior high and high schools - our programs read very few books each year and spent too much time on each.

I didn't read Kitchen Confidential, but I read A Cook's Tour. It was a little graphic at times, telling about the killing of their next meal. So, on that note, I probably won't be reading any more of his books! Good try though.

I'm also trying to get more into nonfiction. I'm not a fan of fictional stories that drone on about the same thing for 50 or so pages. I like historical fiction, too. Is that enough info? :)

2051 Keep going, Foose! I'm now on my 2010 challenge, so you're 5 books ahead of me! :)
