{Rhys tells the 'untold' story of the lunatic in the attic, a major barrier of Mr. Rochester and Jane Eyre romance. This novel made me have a new-found interest in rereading Bronte's work, to pick up on Antoinette's portion. If you like Eyre, you should pick up Rhys' response.}

Yeah, I kinda slacked off in the past few years on this challenge, but I'm trying to get back into it!

Surgery on your foot?! I hope it wasn't because of an injury! You'll definitely have time to knock out a few during your recovery! Any books in particular that you hope to get to?

Fellowship of the Ring went very quickly for me, but I have yet to really 'read' the other two. I've picked up The Hobbit {again}, mainly because the new film version is coming out within a year and I can't remember ANYTHING that happens.
Since you know the story, they will probably be quick for you, and you'll be frustrated with all they've left out of the films!
Good luck! :)

Your review/comments have inspired me to throw this on my 'to-read' list. Of course, the Olympics are a good push, too. I saw the film during its awards run, and loved it - looking forward to reading this 'companion'!
