Maximum looked up at him and sighed, looking down. "Oh yeah..." She looked up at him and shook her head. "I can talk to her another time."

Maximum nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I guess I do. I fell so free when I can see the sky." She smiled and looked at him. "I want to find Ephee." She tensed and then ran forward, weaving through the trees.

Maximum nodded and looked at him. "Yep." She walked out of the den and looked around, smiling as the slight breeze blew through her fur.

Ephona looked at him and giggled. "I always put a bit of mashed up mint leaf to make it smell better."

((ooooohhh... i just now got the irony of that... LOL))
Ephona bit a piece off with her teeth and dropped it on the ground, gently squishing it underneath her paw. "You put the stuf that comes out on the burns."

Maximum nodded and looked at him. "Yeah."

Maximum looked up at him and licked his muzzle.

Ephona smiled softly. "Aloe vera... it is good for healing burns."

Maximum nodded softly and continued to groom her fur.

Maximum's tail wagged and she cleaned her paws

"Nothing..." Maximum laid her head on her paws.


Ephona giggled and walked over to a plant.

Maximum watched him and tilted her head.

Maximum smiled softly. "I will be fine." She took another bite and then curled around him.

Maximum looked at him and smiled before tearing off a small piece.

Maximum woke up and looked around, confused. Lucky was nowhere in sight.

Maximum nuzzled him back and sighed. "Okay."

Maximum leaned on him. "Really?"

Maximum looked at him and sighed. "I know... but what if I don't make a great mother."

Maximum looked at him. "Okay..."

Maximum closed her eyes.

Ephona looked back at him and sighed. "Relax."

Max looked at him and yawned. "Yea?"

Maximum smiled back. "Night..."

Ephona looked at him and started in one direction. "This way."
