And the same to you and your family, Carole. Thanks for everything you do on this site.

You are da man!
Thanks!!!! (;>)

Those were the days you could get smacked on the wrist for not paying attention! There's something to be said for that. (;>)
Which reminds me of the story about the boy and the mule who were plowing a field, and how the boy got the mule's attention at the end of each row before issuing instructions for heading back in the opposite direction. (;>)

Thanks, Carole. I can still hear Miss Kelly's words ringing in my ears: "Sink or swim!" (I can also see her ruler!)

Hi, Gang…
I’m back this week with the story about a boy in a yellow rain slicker who’s made some interesting observations about the weather. You might enjoy his conversation with one of the town’s older inhabitants. (BTW, Miss Kelly was my 8th grade teacher (;>) )
As always, I'd appreciate your vote here:

Congratulations, Dale.
Not sure yet what I'm going to do this week. Very tight box, again. I'm more atuned to thinking "out of the box." Maybe I can come up with a story about a tree falling and . . . well, you get the "picture" (no pun intended).
Hope your wife is feeling better.

And we all know you are an 80-year-old man from Miami.

LOL Who knows...I've seen some pretty great names. I once had a book reviewer named Paige Lovett.
