I am a poet and author. I am desperately seeking remote writing opportunities. I am hoping it can be full time or very good pay for part-time. I was able to apply to a magazine last year but never heard back from them. If anyone know of any job opportunities, please let me know.

No I do not use it. But reports from established publishers have stated that Bowker have been hacked and credit cards stolen. So if you have used your credit card to purchase an ISBN number, you need to check your credit card statement to see if there are any charges on it that you did not make.

Thank you so much. The interviewer was great. It wasn't live so he gave me tips before we began and whenever needed. They also sent me the questions I would be asked in advanced. That really helped. Now I just hope it helps getting more readers. :)

This summer I became 2018 Female Author in Poetry.

After cancellations after cancellations due to Hurricanes, I finally was able to do my radio interview. The interview was posted today on The Author Show Radio and other platforms. If you would like to listen here is the link. I was so nervous because this was my very first time doing a radio interview and there were still some technical difficulties which resulted in me having to do it on my cellphone instead of a landline.

Congrats to all on their success big and small. Earlier this month I did take part in a local Sexual Prevention Awareness Walk in which I was also asked to read a poem from my new book in which I had donated a copy to the local shelter. It went well. No increase in sales but I am happy that I took part in such a great cause.

Most recently I was a Guest Blogger for another blogger/author's website. She told me she will post my piece next Saturday. Will share the link when it is up.

I am hoping to eventually land a writing job so hopefully this will be something I can use to help me accomplish my life long dream. I have submitted an application to one online magazine but no word yet. Looking for more job openings dealing with remote writers with the freedom to write on a variety of topics.

Recently I was able to finally donate 1 copy to a local shelter in my area. Would love to try to get a copy of the book to the shelter. But due to my financial struggle it will have to be shipped to them from Amazon. Would that be OK?

Hi. Sounds like a great opportunity. Are poetry books acceptable? And when do the books need to be sent? I live in the U.S. and if I am able to mail the book it would have to be shipped from Amazon and not directly from me.
