I found a group that seemed to fit the genre I write in, but it's not very active. At least I did something.

I can't pay hundreds, but I could pay a few quid. (Bearing in mind I won't be expecting to make any money back on what I spend on services or promotion-purely from a realistic point of view and experience to date)
As well as the complication that I write erotica, it is a major thing for me to ask someone.
Where do I look?

I stuffed a request for beta readers somewhere in the help section if anyone is interested.

I've "finished" writing the 2nd book in my vaguely funny, sexy sci-fi series. This one is called Nate and Day, (Lunar Medical Book 2.)
Genre-Erotica, Space Opera
Having survived a virus outbreak and a mutant attack on the moon, the crew have been sent out to re-establish communications between the planet and the moon base and to search for survivors. Their genetic modifications are still giving them various "emotional" issues, resulting in the random uncovering of certain body parts... They must arrive safely, escape strange indigenous flora, battle new enemy technology, find uninfected survivors and leave the planet, preferably before it blows up. All this, whilst trying to keep their clothes on.
I write some weird stuff!
Has anyone got the time or interest to read it through for me and see if I've dug any plot holes or misnamed characters?
It is a mere 40k words long which is half the length of the first book.
I have run it through both Grammarly and PWA, taken on board some of their suggestions and raised my middle finger at others.
Warning for violence, swearing and sex.

AND double whammy, not only did I remember that I wrote a passage on my phone for book two, I found it online. It disappeared from my phone as far as I can tell, but I found it on a forum I'd uploaded to year ago.
It'll be the prologue which means my second book will no longer start with the words,
"Is anyone else itchy?"
Oh well.
