Good luck Judy, hope it does well.

Sorry, missed it. Full on Trick or treat mode here.

Something like that. I found their whole approach intimidating but I wasn’t in a good enough place at the time to raise the mental middle finger and I took it very seriously. Carole would say “their loss” lol

Hi Prakash, hope it's going well. I'm also promoting.
With that in mind-when it comes to twitter what do people think about retweeting? Does it help to retweet every single tweet that has you or your book mentioned in it? I'm doing that, but I have no idea if that's the right thing to do.

Thanks Alex. It is very good, even if I do say so myself!

lol. Thank you very much.

Iridessian Haunts (which I wrote especially for the Radish Fiction Halloween collection) has appeared here if you could please share. Thanks.

I can't remember now, it could have been eight years ago or more. A lot has happened to me since then. I was looking at several things at the same time including Black Lace publishing house. Someone somewhere had issues with connectives and conjunctives. There was a whole list of don't use if, but and all the rest. I seem to recall it being a publishing house's rules for submission-don't use these words. And yet I remember the web page with their submissions info looking less than professional.

I’m not sure there’s much chance of me doing that. Years ago I looked at a few websites. They have perplexing rules on even the simplest words you’re not allowed to use. I found them very intimidating.

I write about rubbish. I suppose I shouldn’t really call my family and pets rubbish lol.

Might be worth a go when I’ve finished my two. I stand more chance of being accepted.

That was around 1947. I wonder how many editors in big publishing houses would entertain an author writing like that now. I don’t know of course. Most of what I read these days is on audiobook for the convenience of it. I wonder how quickly “rules” if you like change.
