You will get people that do drive-by reviews. The easiest thing to do is just move on and not to worry about it. Some reviews don't even make any sense, but that they still get to post them. It sucks. Keep writing and try to give the book away to some interested readers and hope they enjoy the book and leave a positive review.

Nice one! I read this post on another group, and it's definitely worth a read if you're a children's book author
They seem like average prices across the industry. A lot depends I the type of book and word count. More words, costs more, but fiction is easier than non/fiction. Not sure who pays 10k lol not me!
Yep I’ve noticed it. It’s hard with children’s books because they’re so short. Title page, copyright page, dedication, maybe an introduction page and thats about it. We have been through this with them before, and they couldn’t help much because it’s something that’s grabbed automatically.
I’m not too worried about. I’d prefer that my reviews didn’t disappear lol
You could format them with all those pages at the back and jump write into the first page if you want it to grab more?

Anita wrote: "I like Readers' Favorite and also used their review service for my books. Matter of fact, theirs was the first review for each book. Each got a five star and it was a huge boost. I have used their ..."Yep, they also have a section now where you can grab a copy of a press release tailored for each book and it's free for the template. Pretty cool!

Also, the world's slowest at printing my books and shipping them to me unless I pay for the world's most expensive print times & delivery.
If I could have nothing to do with Ingram Spark, I would drop my books from them in a heartbeat.
Anita wrote: "Oh, no Ben. That is enough to P... off the Pope as the saying goes."Yeah. I'm just writing them a complaint email right now!
I got a good one. My hockey book apparently wasn't submitted early enough to make it into Ingrams Children's Advance catalog. You would think 2 months would be enough. $85 and now it won't be in until after xmas and after hockey season. I hate Ingram.

Also we got an award there, like you did! ;)
