Happy Holidays everyone!I am sick, alone and haven’t eaten anything worthwhile in 3 days.
Still, for some reason, reasonably happy.
2018 has been good to me (minus the whole world going to shit of cours). Here’s hoping to a gentle 2019 for all!

So lovely to see all the books and I hope lots and lots land in eager, lucky hands.
I think with rimance novels, one person usually writes the Male POV and the other person the female POV. I guess at least that way you’re sure that every “voice” is unique lol.

The two authors above have published a lot of books that they’ve written together. They present themselves to the world under one pseudonym and have sold enough books to crack the NYT bestsellers list.
Could you ever write multiple books with another writer?
I can’t wrap my head around how that would work but I guess it wpuld be nice to have a sounding board and someone as invested as I am in turning a book into a success.

I rarely ask people my own age for advice. What do they know? (Just kidding — ageism directed at the young is annoying too.) But anyways, personally, I love seeking advice from those that have been around longer than I have, and have done things I’m just now trying out. There’s value and wisdom that comes with age. Anyone that dismisses someone because of their age just does themselves a disservice. There’s no group I learn more from.
Those people in meeting sound like total brats. They also forget that they too will grow older one day. Smdh.

That is just total BS from Createspace. I’m sorry you have to deal with it. I hope everything works out in your favor!

Carole wrote: "Greece? No question about it. Have a great time- Uzo, the beach, omg the tomatoes there are divine. One of the best vacations I've ever had."
I’ve never been! A friend of a friend is Greek and we can stay with her family so no hotel costs!
@Alex probably! I’m dreaming of days just enjoying the beach and a cold cold cold glass of wine lol.
Update: I went to the interview. The two legal counsels were late (30minutes — they were finishing another interview (this firm is really expanding)) hadn’t been told by HR that I was coming and practically had to read my resume right there. What a waste of my time.

It’s what I’m here for! :D

B) No, but I can’t reschedule my vacation days. They’ve been set for a while.
C) I really need a breather. =/ Companies pretty much went insane in 2018 due to the new privacy laws and we went insane with them.
I guess I’ll go tomorrow and see what happens. Thanks for the advice.

Tomorrow should be fun.
I’ve been headhunted for a nice legal counsel position. Problem is, it’s a 3 interview process. The first one is tomorrow (I’m not prepared at all but that’s another story.) but if I make it through, the whole thing could take up to four weeks and I’ve made plans to go to Greece. I’m trying not to be shortsighted but damn it, I need this vacation! But I also don’t want to miss out on a good career opportunity. Ugh. This is a luxe problem but damn it, I don’t know what to do.
Carole wrote: "I am proud to say I got my first check from a 'real' publisher! The book comes out in November. I can't wait to see it."AWESOME!
Can’t wait to read it.
