Perhaps I need to be watched closely.... LOL."Thank you! I don't know if 20 is obsessive, but I'll take them if you give them to me. ;-) I only asked about that because I really have no idea what most people do, being new there myself.
I posted a second one today, also pulled from my other blog. https://medium.com/@lehket/symptoms-a.... I'm getting used to their editor, at least. I love hidden controls that only pop up when you do the right thing. (That's semi-sarcastic . . . I actually kind of like them and kind of hate them.)
By the by, what do people think is "typical" for "clapping" on Medium? I have no idea what 5 or 10 or 20 means. Does 20 mean you're obsessed, for example? ;-)

Hmmm . . . reciprocal stalking. Sounds like a plot for a thriller. ;-)
My next review and author interview, this time with Joni Dee, author of And the Wolf Shall Dwell. Please enjoy and share!

Some good news first: Stormy Nights updated my tour page with a very positive mini-review. And today's tour stop: The Reading Addict, where my guest post "Who Do You Trust?" appears. Please enjoy and share!
Okay, here is my debut Medium article, reposted with one slight edit from my Planet Baha'i blog. I've joined the partner program and posted it for members, so if you're not a member you may or may not be able to see it, depending on how many other member articles you've seen this month. Assuming I understand correctly. If I'm not following you over there, nudge me and I will. It imported a list from my social media accounts, but I haven't had time to sift through it yet.
Thanks!

Shared on FB and Twitter. I saw that book before and thought it would be one to read, but then hospitals happened, so thank you for the reminder!

And a small update: Apparently they are indeed supposed to give me a review, so the Goddess Fish folks are contacting them to find out what's up. With luck, a review will appear before too long...
Carmel wrote: "That sounds absolutely fascinating, and right up the alley of what I like to read. Thanks for sharing....I will definitely check this one out! And welcome back!"Thank you, and enjoy the book. I have little doubt you will.

I created an account last night, but haven't posted anything yet. I was thinking about starting with some of the articles I've previously posted to one of my own sites. I didn't see where they had any restrictions on cross-posting, so I assume that would be okay. (?) Also, it doesn't seem to be necessary to have a paid account to post an article, but it looks like "clapping" does require a paid account. Is that right? And if one doesn't have a paid account, does one still get a revenue share from claps? (Just want to make sure I understand how it all works.)
Thanks!
After a bit of a hiatus due to Kathy's hospitalization, I'm back this week with a new review and author interview: K. A. Hitchins and her mind-blowing novel, The Key of All Unknown. Please enjoy and share!
Today's stop: Stormy Nights. This was billed to me as a "review only" stop, but it seems to be more of a "promo only" stop. They have my cover and photo, my blurb, and an excerpt, but no actual review. I'm going to check with the Goddess Fish ladies to see if that was expected, but I suppose the basic publicity can't hurt, so please stop by, share, and if you can think of anything to say, comment. Thanks!
Amy wrote: "I can’t draw so the best I can do is very basic lines to depict where things are in relation to each other. I rely on my memory a lot and I shouldn’t. I am terrible at planning. I’m quite often hal..."That's actually an acceptable way to write, so long as you go back and clean it up later. I do that all the time. I like to compare this to methods of aiming in archery, a subject I learned during my Boy Scout days. In archery, you can use a line-of-sight method of aiming (which is harder than it sounds, because the arrow's trajectory isn't a line), gizmos called bow sights, or (drum roll) the instinct method. The latter involves shooting enough that you get a feel for how to hold the bow to hit the target. That was always my method, and it's also how I write. Not that I don't do some minimal amount of planning, but that's just to orient myself to the "target." After that, it's more instinct than not.
The main thing is, does it work for you? If so, then you're doing it the right way.
There were previously separate threads for FB and Twitter, but they're probably buried by now. I think it might be useful to make this an "author online presence" thread instead of just social media. I've started a spreadsheet to keep track of all the places I have writing profiles, book listings, guest posts, interviews, etc., because otherwise I don't know what's where anymore. In that spirit, here are my profile links:Amazon author profile: https://www.amazon.com/Dale-E.-Lehman...

Thank you!
The tour continues today with two author interviews:Edgar's Reviews
Two Crazy Ladies Love Romance
Yesterday's guest post got a handful of nice comments and two actual questions that I responded to. So far I'm not seeing any sales bump, but it may be too early to tell.
