Sound advice!

Being an Indie is not for the faint of heart. Not that I'm fainthearted, but so many other things are happening in my life, that from my own perspective, I'm seeing the handwriting on the wall. LOL...with luck, I'll escape before it's too late and I'm mired even further in this biz.

Best wishes to all in whatever venues you seek. Ironically, Amazon started out as a bookstore. I imagine we Indies were a boon to them, just as they were our lifesaver. The tables have certainly turned on us these days.

I agree with what has already been pointed out in the above posts pertaining to the upcoming Goodreads Giveaway policy. My giveaways produced negligible results too. I have expressed my opinion in the survey one can fill out. I'll be cutting my losses and doing next to nothing here on Goodreads after my two current giveaways terminate.
