The Indie stigma is also at a local level. It was all I could do to get coverage in my own community paper, never mind the immediate area. We take what we can get. Still, I wouldn't change being self-published.

I "liked" the page, and hope to get involved once I move past my current WIP in the next couple of weeks.
Thank you for presenting another opportunity for Indies.

From my own recent experience, I highly recommend the following:
Cover Design: RM Designs
https://www.facebook.com/RMCustomDesi...
Book Formatting: Golden Box Books Publishing Services (they also design covers). Quick turnaround and courtesy every step of the way. They are also very supportive of Indies post-publication.

While the mushroom cloud of the Cold War hovered over us, my sister and I carried on as kids do regardless of world events. Since the daily minutiae of life provides the magic for memories to MUSHROOM WILDLY—feed your head my nostalgic recollections of growing up during the ‘60s counterculture.
Serious, sentimental, or silly revelations set aside: you know better than to duck and cover under a school desk for protection against nuclear fallout.

Thank you! I submitted, and opted for the eBooks only, submitting my new launch, '100 Wild Mushrooms: Memoirs of the '60s.' I'll also provide feedback.

A newly published author in 2008, I prioritized increasing my visibility, while adding to my credibility, by binge-writing my way out of obscurity. Having grown up during the Sixties, I drew upon those experiences to write my first memoir, “A Mini Tribute to Twiggy,” and submitted it for publication at 'The Sixties Official Site.' When the webmaster graciously invited me to write more, and offered to set up my own page there, I eagerly accepted and turned out a memoir every week for approximately two years, contributing 100 in total. I then composed over two dozen Retro ‘60s Flashbacks to add to my repertoire on my web page—“The Sixties with Eva Pasco”. I’m honored to be an integral part of the “Baby Boomer’s Top Choice Sixties Website” founded by Carl Hoffman.
The endeavor of dredging dormant memories from my childhood and adolescence enabled me to relive the past and celebrate the spirit of my father who passed from this world too soon.
The 100 memoirs in this collection include most of those originally published at The Sixties Official Site, give or take a few—cross referencing, inevitable. All have been edited, revised, and organized according to my logic of progression.

Voted! Best wishes...

Thank you, Carole!
I started reading 'Navigating Indie World' and marvel how this type of book is fascinating reading. I would be much further in my reading, but I've been immersed in a couple of new projects. However, letting you know it will be my pleasure to write a review when I finish it.

Aislinn, be reassured that I can count on one hand the number of people who have bought my second book. You're still beating me.
