My number of reviews on the US side went up when amazon merged the reviews from the UK side. They still don't have it right yet on the UK side. On a couple of my books, the reviews from the US side are posted, but the number of reviews hasn't changed. And, on one book, they've only posted a sampling of the reviews on the US side, and have a link that takes to the US side to see the rest of the reviews. Guess, they haven't figured it all out yet.

Kudos to you. Well-deserved

Same with mine. I tried a couple of Ads but I don't like their new algorithms for calculating the bids. When something gets that complicated you can bet it's not in the favor of the author. I finally pulled my ads down.

Kudos to you. Well deserved.

Kudos to all the winners!!!!!!!!!!!

U.S. Supreme Court Holds That Copyrights Must Be Registered before Plaintiffs Can File Infringement Suits
Tuesday, March 5, 2019
The U.S. Supreme Court held today that bringing a suit for copyright infringement requires that the infringed work actually be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office, and that a mere application for registration will not suffice.

Amazon is phasing out the Product Display Ads for authors on the US site. I have an ad running on the UK site. I've not received a notice they're doing the same.
"We are retiring Product Display Ads for authors. As of January 7, 2019, you can no longer create new Product Display Ads. But you can continue to run and edit existing Product Display Ads through February 5, 2019. Your historical campaign data will remain accessible in the advertising console."
"Lockscreen Ads: Our newest ad type for authors provides you with many of the same benefits as Product Display Ads, plus new placements. Continue targeting by interest and reach readers actively reading on Kindle E-readers. Your ads can appear on Amazon Fire tablets in full-color display. "

Wow, some good stuff to get the new year started off with a bang. Kudos to everyone.

That's true. Proof is stamped across the cover.

I thought I'd hold it at the discount price for at least a couple of days, before changing back. I'll let it run for a few days longer.

Ted-- I sure agree. I'm running an ENT ad today for A u 7 9. Of all my advertising over the last two years for three books, ENT was the only one that had any significant sales. I am hopeful today will be a good day.
