I personally enjoyed the novel much more than I thought I would, but I stand with Adams when he claims that it is a story about rabbits. It is not political commentary. I was surprised by some of the dark images Adams includes in this children's story. I wonder if parents still read it to their children before bed, or if the novel has fallen out of favor?

I have to agree with Johanna. I have read this book several times, and I keep thing that this time it will click and I will love it. I don't hate it either. Several times, like Johanna, I was left with what is she trying to say with this part.
