The Bookshelf link is on the right side, in small print, that starts with GROUP HOME.

189072 This book made me laugh (learning punctuation) and cry and think about mental retardation with a new perspective. I was reading a library book with the last few pages crinkly, like they had been wet. I'm sure many others had cried over Charlie's heartbreaking downward spiral. But, on the upside, maybe Charlie will find purpose at Warren, giving comfort to some of the other children there.
189072 I second Dark Matter.

Kelly, that's a great list, but could you pick just 1 for starters? Nominations are limited to 1, but you can second as many as you like (see message 1).
189072 I nominate Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë (532 pages)
189072 I nominate Twelve Years a Slave by Solomon Northup (363 pages)

189072 By Jove! Just finished my first H.G. Wells story. It was a fun read, not too scary with interesting descriptions of life in 1897 London. More humour than I expected. But didn't feel much sympathy for Griffin when he passed. Kept thinking a splash of water could help locate the guy.

189072 I watched a movie in 1968 called "Charly" starring Cliff Robertson, which was based on this book. I've been wanting to read the book ever since.
189072 I'll second The Stand
