added all my November books to post 34. sorry to be slow, I've been recovering from dental surgery and got behind on posting. I had my wisdom teeth out late in life, the week before Thanksgiving, and I'm finally feeling normal. Hope everyone is well!

Thanks to Ketutar for the points explanation for my book questions!

I joined this group a few years ago, mainly for the monthly book choices/discussions. Sometimes I’m so overloaded, I don’t manage to participate in the discussions in a timely way, and if the book is popular, it can be hard to get at the right time from the library (where I get most of my books) The discussions are always open though, so I try to weigh in on books when I can. The only challenges I’ve participated in are the TBR challenge and the Hogwarts House Cup, and our new Around the World challenge. I enjoy these challenges, but I’m not really drawn to do more, though they seem popular with others.
I think we should definitely keep the monthly reads and discussions.
I’m thankful to all the moderators for doing such a great job keeping things running smoothly!

added a few 1/2 point books to post 34

Added a bunch of books to post 34. One was an audiobook just under an hour, so I assume that's 1pt and one was a novella that had no clear page numbers in the program I was reading it on, but it was short, so assuming 1pt for that too.

thanks for the short story links Manny and Jess!

I second The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pitt.

I second Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell

added two more books to post 34. Just finished The Bone Houses, a medieval Welsh fantasy which I highly recommend.

I second The Invention of Wings

added three books to post 34, one 2pt and two children's books, so 3 more points total. I think I fixed my math, my points were off before (thanks Lina!)

What a Great Idea! I nominate David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. 736 pages in paperback
I second Outlander, The Luminaries, Count of Monte Cristo, A Suitable Boy, Hawaii and Shogun

I second Dragonflight and Moll Flanders

I second The Wind Up Bird Chronicles

added two more books to post 34 for November, bringing my total up to 27 1/2 points. I think my listed total for October is wrong, it should be 24 1/2, it said 23 the last time I looked. Not to complain, I know it must be hard work keeping track of everyone's stats!!!
