Not the main focus of the books, but there are several ‘adjusting houses/buildings/complexes’ throughout.

Cradle and all, by James Patterson. It’s been years since I read it, but from memory a nun (who’s struggling with her faith) is assigned to investigate a virgin pregnancy… only to have two more pop up. I remember really enjoying it and all the twists. I’m dying to give you spoilers, but will resist, maybe.

Steel Brothers Saga. I only read the first, and there’s the storyline of H’s issues after being kidnapped & abused by as a child. One of them had a Phoenix tattoo. At the cliffhanger, they split & h went to spend time with her my & her new (senator?) boyfriend who happens to have a phoenix tattoo.

I’m into HR books atm, and the difference is probably more obvious in them than others, but any genre is fine if it’s a good book.

I’ve noticed there’s a huge tendency to have the virginal or near virginal women as the h’s, but more clearly is the raging-evil-WHORE-psychopath-bitchy-witches as the enemies.

Are there any suggestions for h’s who are sexually active and own their own power as the nice deserving h?

HEA for me is monogamous, so they shouldn’t still be seeking others, but they were open a free and happy about it before, and still know their own power after the HEA.

Any idea what country it’s set in? It there an overall plot like evil ex coming after her, hunters coming, or jealous locals wanting the alpha for themselves?
