I checked my TBR. I have a few options. I'd vote for this.

I like the idea of titles with any punctuation, not just question marks. Good idea.

174195 It will be 50 years in 2026 since Agatha Christie passed away. I feel that could feature into a prompt somehow.

ETA: Also, next year, it will be 10 years since Prince died. What about a challenge centered around his song titles? Any connection people can find to them. There are many ways to interpret them.

For example:
Purple Rain ~ a book with a purple cover or rain on the cover, or either word in the title text
In Love - a romance novel
The Sun, the Moon and Stars - sci fic or a non-fic book about space
Silly Game - a book about someone who plays games with people's hearts, or an actual game, contest, or sporting event, etc.

Sorry for the spam, I'm really done for now.

174195 Some ideas I had:

* A book set in an Airbnb, hotel/motel, or bed and breakfast. (ex: Psycho)

* A book with an occupation in the title or subtitle (Texas ranger, doctor, officer, psychic, baker, etc.) (ex: Doctor Zhivago)

* A classic written by a female author. (ex: Their Eyes Were Watching God)

* A book with secrets, lies, vows, or promises. (ex: The Husband's Secret)

* A book that has a title with a question mark in it: (ex: Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?)

Oh, I like this idea. Amateur Sleuth is a subgenre that would work too :)

Aww okay lol Thanks for explaining :)

ETA: Pamela, I would recommend including examples when you nominate for people who might have questions like me lol

174195 Hello, everyone! I hope 2025 is off to a good start for you. Thanks to the mods for creating this thread.

I didn't get to vote or nominate last year. My head was apparently in another galaxy lol But I hope to participate in the process this year. I am already trying to think of prompts. Has one like this ever been done before-

Read (2) books by different authors with the same title. (i.e. Unnatural Death by Patricia Cornwell & Unnatural Death by Dorothy L. Sayers OR The Good Mother by Sue Miller & The Good Mother by Cathryn Grant)??
