174195 Ahoy Matey's. I finished The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien last night but was sleepy & dropped anchor. I'm up & will be moving out soon. I put that book under schooners a short book. 233 pages. If it works better elsewhere feel free to move it. I will start Blacktop Wasteland by S.A. Cosby much later today. Smooth sailing everyone & good work.

174195 What challenges and distractions have you faced this read-a-thon? I haven't had many distractions. Friday will be my day of distractions. I hope to get a few hours of reading done but it will be in the evening when I am tired.
What is your favorite book so far? I have two. Legendborn (Legendborn #1) by Tracy Deonn. We Begin at the End by Chris Whitaker. Both 5 stars.
How's your team and individual challenges going? Great. Caribbean pirates are busy with all our rowboats & are close to completing their first fleet. Our co-captains have kept us rowdy pirates on task. My individual challenge is also going great. I have finished the pink line & had so much fun I am doing it again. The pink line is really helping me with my TBR list.
What have you accomplished so far in this read-a-thon? I have completed 3 books & a poem.
What are your goals for the remainder of the read-a-thon? Finish two books for a total of 5 books. Also to continue having fun. I have really enjoyed the pirate theme. Caribbean pirates have great spirit.

174195 Good Morning fellow pirates. I will try to cover 199 nautical miles today. That is how many pages I have left on my current read. If I can't finish today will definitely do it tomorrow. Friday will be a slow reading day because I will be gone from the ship for most of the day.

174195 I finished We Begin At The End by Chris Whitaker. 5 stars. I couldn't put it down. A lot of secrets in the book. I used it for a character that can be found in a deck of cards. Vincent King. I'm glad the name popped out at me. I didn't know what I was going to use for this prompt.

174195 Thanks Ellie. I put it under schooner, a fast paced book.
174195 I finished the individual challenge, the pink line. It was so much fun I'm doing it again. I hope it's okay to do the same line twice.

174195 Well done crew. I finished We Begin at the End by Chris Whitaker. I don't know where to use it. It doesn't work on the ships we are building. I also read The Hill We Climb by Amanda Gorman. This will only count for pages read. I'm open for suggestions on We Begin at the End. I will set sail soon. I will finish up in port, round up the crew & shove off.

174195 Quick question. Is anyone beside me reading We begin at the End? I known I put the book on the plan spreadsheet but only the letter A is there instead of my name. I hated to assume that was my column.

174195 Ahoy Matey's. Smooth sailing today. I will finish my book tomorrow.

174195 I finished two books back to back.
The Third Man by Graham Greene. A place you haven't visited. Vienna Austria. 3 stars. This was the movie version, in fact this was never meant to be a book.
Legendborn (Legendborn #1) by Tracy Deonn. 5 stars. I must of been in the mood for YA fantasy because I couldn't put it down. I really like fantasy & don't read enough of it. I used it for a winner or nominee from the 2020 Good Reads Choice awards.
