There are no bottom prompts in the multi-week poll
Close Call
2 Weeks: Two books where the first word of the second title is the same as the last word of the first title
The next round of suggestions will open around 9 am CST on Friday, July 25.

In my experience, people generally skip over reading the description to the poll and skip straight to the questions, so we typically link the discussions thread on the announcements so it forces you to open the thread before getting to the poll. Pamela switched it up this time (linking the poll, but putting the GR discussion in the description), but we honestly have no way of knowing if that's helped or not lol.

The musical note one was a mix up in suggestions (I'm assuming?). It's written as it was suggested and approved in the suggestions round. There may have been something different in the Wild Discussion for the original intention of the prompt, but we can only go by what is suggested and seconded.

Wording it as such for approval:
2 Weeks: The most recently published book by an author and a book from that same author's backlist

2 Weeks: Two books, where the second book's title provides a response to or continuation of the first book's title

3 Weeks: One book related to a sharp musical note, one book related to a flat musical note, and one book related to a natural musical note
For the transportation:
3 Weeks: One book related to planes, one book related to trains, and one book related to automobiles

As we go into the multi-week suggestions round tomorrow, I want you to be thinking carefully about how your prompt is worded. I'll be around to clarify (Pamela is running suggestions tomorrow for the first time!), but in case I miss it:
Last year I noticed a lot of wording that didn't convey what the suggester intended. For example:
"Four books related to Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air"
The above example would imply that you would need four books that related to all four elements
When what you may really intend for it to be is worded:
"Four books, each related to a different element in Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air"
I remember last year I did a bit of clarification with prompts that I thought may come out weird, so I wanted to point this out before the round opens.
Note that on the poll, this would be worded either:
4 Weeks: Four books related to Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air
or
4 Weeks: Four books, each related to a different element in Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air
And on the final prompt list, this would look like either:
Four books related to Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air: Book 1
Four books related to Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air: Book 2
Four books related to Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air: Book 3
Four books related to Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air: Book 4
OR
A book related to earth
A book related to wind
A book related to fire
A book related to air
There's no wrong way, but I want to make sure that what makes it to the poll is what the suggester and seconder intended!

A book with one of the four elements in the title: Earth, Wind, Fire, Water
This could be a four-week challenge, so would have to be suggested in this next Poll."
I..."
I think we had Earth Wind Fire Water in our 2017 list! It was my first year doing the challenge and that was a tough one for me to wrap my head around lol.
