174195 Excellent options Bea! I might have missed it... are you reading three books for each prompt?
Jun 10, 2024 12:16PM

174195 You need to make sure that you are shelving the books you're reading on the correct shelf that you linked for the challenge, and you have to make sure that your "Read" date is within this year - sometimes people update their status but don't set a read date and that can mess with it.

174195 Sherri and LeahS, y'all are good to go!

174195 Back to School Sales is an easy one for that - Educated or any memoir featuring a kid in school could hit "from the library", "nonfiction", and "featuring a character in education"

I'm using Calypso, which fits the library and nonfiction prompts... but I'll probably slot it in for nonfiction in case I want to do the challenge a few different times with different prompts.

174195 How's BOTM been going for y'all this year? Any surprises that would make good add ons? Any busts?
Jun 09, 2024 05:41AM

174195 Yes, definitely!

174195 Nadine, I typically go in and clear duplicates on that list pretty regularly, so using the Search vs. From Shelf button is not generally an issue for our BOTM thread.

174195 I have a few heavier books on my TBR that would fit the land prompt, but I think I'll end up going with Off the Map, which is a rom com. I have a lot of heavier books slated for July so I have a feeling I'll need the levity.

174195 Listopia updated!
Jun 08, 2024 11:06AM

174195 Listopia updated through here!
Jun 08, 2024 11:06AM

174195 I've been slacking on my Best Book of the Month updates, but I'm going to throw Just for the Summer in here because it was so good!
Jun 08, 2024 11:03AM

174195 It would really help if people went through and voted monthly! That would bring some of the more popular titles to the top of the list.

But, like Dubhease, I have a list going on my 2024 Plan of books I see on the thread that I have on my TBR, so when I do get to that prompt (reading in order), I'll have options.
Jun 08, 2024 07:00AM

174195 Hey Sherri, under June, you would need to finish one prompt for Ballpoint Pen Day, one prompt for Prune Day, one prompt for Let's Catch a Movie, and one prompt for Paul Gauguin - for a total of four books for June. Those one prompts in each category could be either A, B, OR C, but not all three.

The good news is you can reassign these books you've already read, and you don't have to do them in any order (so you can finish August's prompts in June, etc.).

Please let me know if that makes sense!
