LMFAO about your answer to the "Toads"! haha. Yes, Henry grew on me and I'm glad he was decent.

Also, I WAS THE SAME WAY WITH MASON! I was like "GET AWAY! GIVE ME MORE XANDER!" haha.

And Skye, yes, I was waiting for more of Skye. We like barely saw her and I'd like to see more of her and see her DO more.

hahahaha I thought cancer too! I guess we're both morbid like that. lmfao.

Glad I wasn't the only one who was hoping to see something with that story line! I honestly would love to see a companion/sequel for this to see more! :) I'd even be happy with a short story or a novella...

I never read Nightshade but I do own it. And The Girl at Midnight is pretty good so far! If you like Daughter of Smoke & Bone and Shadow and Bone, you'll like The Girl at Midnight!

My questions after the book:

1. Were you upset with her mom after finding out that her mom took an extreme route and never mentioned who her grandparents were?
2. Were you upset with Xander after the benefit? Or did you give him the benefit of the doubt?
3. What are your thoughts on the ending?
4. Are you wanting a "sequel" of some sort dealing with how things go after this? Like, where do Xander and Caymen stand when going to College? Or maybe a book about Caymen on a journey to find her father? Or is this just me?
5. Overall, what did you think? Were you happy this was one of the books this month?

My thoughts after this section:

I loved this story! It wasn't just about romance but also about finding yourself and long lost family.

I am a little upset that Caymen's dad didn't make ANY appearance whatsoever because I was really banking on that SUV guy being there because of her dad.

I am SO glad that she met her grandparents finally.

My questions after this section:

1. Mom has an ultrasound; is she pregnant? Or do you think it is more serious than that?
2. Do you think her mom is hiding more than her health?
3. Do you think that Caymen's dad has tried to find her? Maybe the guy in the SUV was a lawyer or a P.I.?
4. Do you think Caymen will end up going to the benefit?
5. Are you happy that Caymen is finally accepting the possibility of her and Xander?

My thoughts after this section:

AWH! Xander is such a sweetie! Taking Caymen to the college to see if she's like to pursue a degree in science!

LOL @ the Starz magazine incident!

Why didn't she just let the kissing and flirting happen while on the private jet?!

My questions after this section:

1. Do you think that Caymen takes it a little far when it comes to Xander's "richness"?
2. Did you feel awkward during the part where Xander brought dinner for Caymen and Mason was there?
3. Were you upset when Xander wasn't there the next Monday for their normal walk to Caymen's school?
4. Do you think Caymen will be able to get over the class difference so that her and Xander can be together?
5. Do you think that Xander is using Caymen to get his dad to notice that he doesn't want to take over the family business?
6. What's up with this dark clothed, dark bearded guy who drives an SUV? Is he FBI? Caymen's dad?
7. Do you think that there is something wrong with her mom yet? Cancer? Another sickness? Or do you think she was lying about having a doctor's appointment?

My thoughts on this section:

I love that Xander came up witht he idea of "Career Day". And that Xander came up with the photo shoot for Caymen was pretty awesome.

I love that Caymen decided to take Xander to the cemetery to see if he would like to be a gravedigger. Even though all she wanted was for him to get a little dirty.

I hate that she didn't let them have a moment after they were done digging.

Questions I came up with during this section:

1. Do you think that Caymen's dad will show up in the book?
2. Do you think that Caymen's mom is hiding something?
3. What do you think about the Crusty Toads?
4. Did you secretly hope that Mason was going to be the sole love interest or did you want it to be Xander?
5. What's your take on Skye?

My thoughts during this section:

I love Caymen! She's sarcastic and has this dry humor that I just can't get enough of!

I have a feeling that something is wrong with her mom, Susan. Caymen often asks her mom if everything is okay because sometimes her mom acts out of the norm. Maybe it is foreshadowing.

I am already in love with Xander even though we don't know a whole lot about him yet.

I loved the Q&A sessions between Caymen and Xander.

lol. it's okay. I ended up changing the book i chose because apparently, I can't stick with the list that I make myself all the time. :)

I remember it okay. But I think I'm going to rewatch the movie after I reread the book :) So I'll answer these questions soon! :)
