Damien nodded, "I believe you Kali if Variel does..." He then turned to Variel who was still playing with salem's ahir..."I gave her Eric's soul. When I killed him it was unintentional and my emotions wouldn't allow me to absorb his soul. Eric's past is for her to know now. I won't share anymore than that without her permission given that's he can be trusted. However, Kali, you must understand that I am risking death by not killing. The death I committed today will hold me over for a little while, but he wasn't an Elitist...He was just a Novice. His power is like being hungry and only having something to drink. If you are willing to help do it quickly and to the best of your ability. I can't summon the dark Lord again without payment of an innocent soul." He explained clearly he wasn't going to let someone boss him around. She may have the upper hand on him, but he was going to keep the odds in his favor. Salem started stirring again and moaning as if in great fear and pain. "Please...help him." Damien said as Salem had tears leak form his eyes. Memories sliding down his cheeks.

Damien nodded, "Please, if you can alter his dreams he may believe whatever he saw of his past to just be dreams, but first as I said before tell Variel what you now know. I want to know what she feels. Dogs are excellent at sensing truths, fears, and lies. Familiars are even better." Damien said coldly. He looked back at Variel, "Kali knows, but I want to use your animal inclination to detect if we can trust her." Damiens aid plainly. Even if she was helping Salem that could mean she was on his side as an innocent. He wanted to be able to trust her enough to say she was an ally. He knew she wouldn't aid in killing and he doubted she could find a way to stop the killing and the aging. He felt deep in his stomach that he was better off if he would have kept even Variel in the dark. If he had kept silent of his problems the Seer wouldn't even know at this moment. Everything led up to Kali discovering and possibly holding his heart in her hand. The moment the Coven discovered was the moment he would suffer a horrible fate. He was to die in the future, but until then he was to take hold and rule the entire Coven and put mortals where they belong. They could pray to their God and look for a way out, but the mortals of Grievance Ridge were already as good as dead as far as Damien saw things.

Damien raised an eyebrow, Variel, what did you do? What did Kali show you?" He asked coldly. He sounded like a father scolding a child. he was under enough stress and he didn't need more murders that eh didn't commit piling on the ones he did. Damien quickly dismissed the issue when he turned to Kali, "I don't care what she has to think of you, but I want your word and I wna toyu to tell her, now. Salem will be going through enough when he wakes up knowing and I will be the one who has to deal with him. I don't need you hovering over my conscience every time I do something." He moved to a chair and sat next to salem's bed. The heart monitor seemed steady again. Which was good he wasn't having flashbacks now.

Salem was in fact having flashbacks in his mind as his power began to unlock long forgotten memories. He saw his mother's face after he was born and his father's. He saw Damien younger when he was born and then the stress his parents went through trying to love their children and work as hard as possible to be mortals. He watched it all. then he went into mroe clear visions of recent memories with full detail. He saw Variel taking him and Erin out for lunch becuase Damien was busy with something. now that all made sense if those are really memories Damien was a killer. He turned his head slightly at the sound of voices, but was unable to escape hsi memories he did managed a moan of a name, "Variel."

These days it is less ritual and more sport. Killing Witches is like a game to them. along with purifying the Earth they get to kill Satan's bitches haha...Some hunters have been known to capture, beat, and treat cruelly to the extent of even rape ebfore releasing then hunting again for the love of the sport.

Damien stopped in his tracks and turned to face the seer, "What are you talking about? You know my secret Variel needs to know that you can be trusted. I want you to tell her yourself in person in front of me. She tends to have an excellent protective instinct in knowing who I should and should not trust." Damien said insisting that she come. He opened the room door to see Variel and Salem. Salem was still asleep of course. "How is he?"

Damien rolled his eyes and threw his cigarette bud down on the pavement crushing it under his shoe. He walked toward the emergency door when he received a call. he answered his phone, "Hello? This is Mr. Devereux...Room 5b678. Thank you." He kept walking ignoring her presence now rather annoyed that she would think presume that Salem was anywhere close to measure to his strength and power. Salem wasn't even a novice yet and she felt he was being underestimated. It was a laughable concept.

Damien took a puff of his cig ebfore raising an eyebrow at her last comment, "Wait, what are talking about? What don't I know about him, and there are a lot of Witches whose power has brought them back to life. It was a fluke it happens. I'm sure if I died my body would want me to come back...I don't think lightning will strike me, given my element isn't even close to air, but I would come back.As for salem like a I said a fluke. He would know if had any special gifts and he would tell me if he did." Damien said trying to amke a point, but he was now questioning hsi own words.

"Kiss of Oneiric-Necrogenesis"...An idea that you didn't bring up just throwing out for the hell of it...Oneiric-Cerebrum-Narcosis Inducement (This paralyzes the brain causing the body to go into a vegetable-like state. He put the car in reverse and backed down the dirt road back to the main road and headed back to the hospital. Once he pulled into the parking lot he lit another cigarette as he climbed out of the car. He leaned against hsi car smoking simply thinking and waiting for Kali to say something else. They were silent coming back after his words abotu sAlem, but he knew she was holding it in until they got to their destination. Most people feared hsi driving anyway due to he had no care for mortal road laws.
