I like it, but I notice in many groups when one makes a human they lose connection to the more popular species of characters in this case witches.

Make sure you have a way to stay connected to the others too.

◘Why is it against the law for Mortals to have sex with Witches?
*Most Covens decree that it is considered an outrageous notion to even think of mortals as sexual partners. Therefore, most Witches born are considered pureblood Witches born to an all Witch family. For a Witch to partake in sexual intercourse with a mortal is an offensive act to Witchkind. Witches look to gain power and learn and develop those powers. For a Witch to fall in love with a mortal grants the punishment of banishment. However, should a Witch feel truly devoted to a mortal they have the right to appeal for banishment. Right of Dismissal: Should a Witch feel the desire to leave the safety and sanctity of the Coven they hold the right to appeal to the Elders and High Priestess for dismissal and the Banishment of Mnemosyne. This wipes clean any memories that a Witch may hold of ever being apart of the Coven. Ensuring that secrecy remains a top priority to the Coven. As it is a crime to mate with mortals for Witches if it is requested to be seen by a Seer and is deemed the two are meant to be together the Coven will revoke the Witches right to be in the Coven but will accept their offspring as some Witches have been known to mate with Guardians who are mortal.

◘Can Witches be born to mortals?
*As rare as it is given the laws, yes. A Witch who mates with a mortal can produce either Witch offspring or Mortal offspring. It is believed by most Covens that a Witch with a mortal parent will never come into their powers fully because of the diluted blood. However, whether or not the statement of a Witch with a mortal parent being less powerful is true or not is a matter of opinion. Normally, in the mix of Witch and mortal blood if the Father is a Witch and the mother is mortal the children will be mortal, but if the father is the mortal and the mother is a Witch the children will be Witches. As such genetics are unexplainable and it has been disproven no one can determine if the Witch gene is dominant only in females or males as some male witches have produced Witch offspring with female mortals.
**Two mortals giving birth to a Witch is not as uncommon as many believe it to be. For as long as any generation before the parents within the bloodline were "pure" Witches there is always the chance of a mortal couple giving birth to a Witch. However, with each mortal offspring born to the previous generation the least likely it is for a Witch to be born. If one with mortal parents had a Witch Grandmother they would have a full chance of being either a Witch or Mortal, but were it a great-grandparent the chances of a Witch being produced is cut down significantly.
***In many families of mixed kinds with multiple children sometimes the Witch gene can be see in some of the offspring but not others. A family of seven having one Witch parent and one mortal parent can see anywhere between all or none of the offspring to be Witches. The same can be said for the offspring being mortal.
****Mortals can be born to Witches. This is the rarest case ever to be heard of and is far less common than Witches being born to all mortal parents. Two Witches are able to give birth to children who are mortal and those children can give birth to Witches or mortals, but have never and will never have mixed offspring as a Witch and a mortal would. Witches who have mortal offspring and those offspring have never conceived more than two children and were never able to do so beyond two children, usually as a set of twins. It is unknown as to why it is only it sets of two they are born, but it can been seen throughout history. The mortal offspring of Witches are able to produce Witches and in fact are more apt than other mortals to produce Witches. Their children are only born in sets of two as well, but then the link ends in those sets.

◘When do powers begin to manifest for Witches?
*A Witch's powers can manifest at any age. Note that they won't come into their personal gifts until puberty. "The Power" remains dormant within a Witch until their 13th birthday, but even before that a Witch will find that they hold small abilities that all Witches hold. Telekinesis is the most common ability to appear in infant and toddler Witches. It is most often advised to keep things locked up out of sight otherwise the infant will be able to move things all over the house.

◘Can powers be bestowed upon mortal children by a Witch?
*No, unfortunately the world holds only three factions: Mortals, Witches, and Cursed. Those Cursed are cursed by witches, this may grant them abilities, but it is always at a price. If one is born a Mortal a Witch can only curse them or bless them, this does not give them any form of true power as once a mortal, always a mortal. Even those cursed with Immortality will always be considered mortal or Cursed Ones.

◘What is the point of Witches bestowing/stealing power if a Witch is born with power?
*Witches are born with a great amount of power, some are stronger than others simply because fate has deemed it so. The same can be said with mortals some are stronger, faster, and smarter. Some mortals have unbelievable talents, the same can be said for Witches, but those powers can always be stronger and better. If a Witch willingly bestows power upon another Witch it simply gives them the boost to become the best they can be. To bestow power gives all of one Witches soul energy to another. This will allow powers to manifest more fully and be controlled almost entirely.
**Stealing powers is a bit different than bestowing powers. A witch who is commonly known as a Wraith steals power to not only gain that extra boost, but also gain strength in the boost. Wraiths are capable of unlocking powers that Coven and Rogue witches are unable to unlock without bestowal from the High Priestess. In order to steal another's powers for yourself a Witch must kill another Witch who has already Ascended and eat their soul. Wraith's steal power to gain power, literally. No Wraith has been recorded to make it so far, but the Wraith's have the capability of becoming as powerful as the High Priestess if not more powerful.
***Stealing and Bestowing are two very different concepts. Actual abilities such as Mnemokinesis are not transferable from one Witch to another Witch. Power Bestowal, granting a Witch with another ability, is what only a High Priestess holds the ability to do. Bestowing power from a normal Witch to a Witch simply bestows energy to develop abilities that were not unlocked before within a Witch. There is a distinct difference between Power and Abilities. Power is the energy within all life mortal or Witch that is linked together on a single otherworldly system keeping all life connected and what can lead to such phenomena as destiny, chaos, time, fate, etc... One can bestow power upon another, but not abilities, on can steal power, but no abilities unless they have the ability to do so.

◘If both Mortals and Witches have power, why don't mortals have abilities like Witches?
*The true defining line between mortal and Witch is that Witches, unlike mortals, are born with a deeper connection to The Power. It is this connection that formed in ancient times that divided the two races. Witches are natural intuned with the energy of the universe and therefore the universe responds to their will more easily than mortals. At times mortals find the cracks in such energies and are able to hack into their own personal storage of power and exhibit small temporary feats of magic. From Mediums and Psychics to the random telekinetic child. All have power, but only Witches are born with a direct connection to the power which allows them to use it through abilities and other acts of true magic. A mortal who attempts magic will never succeed fully as they are not intuned with the universe. This is the more scientific aspect of it. There is a far more spiritual aspect to such a connection and it can not be fully interpreted or understood by even Witches. Most take it for what it is, Witches have power and magic mortals do not.

There is now a difference between Rogue and Wraith....However, the term Rogue can be loosely used for Wraiths, as well.

Salem tried his hardest to stay conscious as he saw Variel enter his room. He was holding a now half full bottle of goldschlager and a half empty bottle of what he believed to be Aleve. "I understand, but I already know what Damien's reaction will be when he truly hears it from my mouth. If he doesn't retaliate in anger he will simply ignore the fact about me. I'd rather him be angry than pretend it isn't true." Salem said his head nodding in and out. He was completely unaware that he just took a handful of xanax's and that amount of them could end fatally in an overdose. "You wouldn't understand how he is anyway...you just feel like a pillow." Okay so Salem wasn't exactly speaking anything that made any real sense, but he was trying. He didn't understand how he felt so intoxicated more so than what he should if he was laying down he should feel fine. What was wrong with him. He had to get some message across. Salem moved to sit up and only collapsed entirely. His eyes rolled into the back of his head and he started convulsing like he was having seizure.

Damien stood down stairs trying to follow what Variel had just said. He started to talk to himself, "What do you mean your gay? I can't have a brother who is gay...That will ruin my name as High Priest. How can I rule over a Coven with people looking down the end of their noses at me because I have a queer brother? I can't just accept that Salem is gay...He is probably confused and doesn't know how to explain things to hismelf. That's it...he will just grow out of it and everything will go back to normal. he broke up with his girlfriend he probably feels he can't get another girl because he thinks he is gay. I'm not going to push him, but Salem isn't gay...He can't be."

Julia, You have until June 10, My B-Day, to have your character in approval. You will be expected to be active and to remain so. Should you fail to accomplish the task of having your character ready in two weeks time your title will be revoked.

I will be looking through character sheets hope everyone's are good. Had a great vacation and I can't wait to see the progress that has been made.

Salem nodded, "No, I've been trying to say this for a while. The alcohol only lets me accept the punishment to come. Damien..I'm....I'm...not straight..." Damien laughed nearly falling out of his chair..."I can see that...Ray Charles can see you are beyond straight you are more drunk than a a worm at the bottom of a tequila bottle." Salem glared and above the clear night sky turned dark with storm clouds, "that's nto what I mean...can't yous ee I'm trying to confide inyou and Variel and be serious? Can't yous ee I want ot be able to say I have a big brother that I trust and lvoe and fele that he can trust and love me too? I know I'm not sober I am trying to say something for real!" He stood up and the wind picked up. Suddenly thunder was booming and lightning was flashing everywhere. It began to come a hard rain that felt like needles. Damien grabbed his shirt and snapped his fingers as the fire went out. Damien took Variel by the hand quickly and raced inside and Salem stumbled behind frustrated with tears in hsi eyes now. He walked past Damien and ran upstairs. The bottle dropped at the top of the stairs and rolled ina circle. Salem slammed hsi door shut and went for his other stashed bottle. he tossed off hsi wet clothes, but his underwear and leaned back on his bed turning the bottle up to chase a few Aleve or what he thought was Aleve. He had in his gym bag for school. The guys at school switched them for xanexes. Just to drug the faggot up.

Salem rolled his eyes, "Yeah, well...I think tt is time I do confide in you, Variel. Maybe it is best you set between me and show off." Salem was clearly intoxicated. he pretty much killed the bottle by himself. He was intoxicated enough to say something stupid that he needed to get off of his chest. "Vari, You and Damien both know that I have dated girls on and off throughout highschool, what you do not know is that I have another power I haven't told you about. I can control and manipulate people's darkest and lightest emotional aspirations. I control sin and virtue. When I date a girl who is filled with Lust for me I inflict her with Chastity. Well, I did....anyway...I only did this not because I want to be a virgin until I married, but because I'm not interested in losing my virginity to girlfriends."

Damien raised an eyebrow opening the vodka and drinking on it. "What are you getting at Salem? If you are about to pour out emotions you are never allowed to drink again."

Salem shook his head, "No I'm not pouring emotions on you..I'm telling you something that I haven't had the guts to tell you before. After the day I had I just want to get the hitting done and over with. So I have to tell you this."

Damien rolled his eyes, "I thoguht you were confiding in Variel not me." Salem sighed, "Can I not confide in you both? I want to tell you soemthing that I know youw ill hate me for."

Now Damien was concerned. He didn't want to, but if he had to he would knock Salem out and already hsi grip was tight on the vodka bottle as his knuckles turned pale.

Oh you are making the twins okay...I get it now...yeah I could be friends with one of them as Witch.
