Eli looked at Kali in fully understanding, "I see...So are you looking for a friend to protect you or a Familiar to bond with? I have many dark secrets over half of which I am sure you are already aware of. I do not want that to come in between your options as I understand very well that you fear what you might find. You are afraid of getting too close and never want to be close to another person again. However, I was called upon to be someone's Familiar. That someone just happens to be you. It is your choice as to whether or not you accept me for the bonding. Your commands...I will follow. Your emotions...I will feel. Everything that makes you who you are will be reflected in me. I honestly am unsure if I am even prepared for such a soulbinding course of action, but I know that I am here to make it happen. IF only you are willing to do the same." Eli explaiend a bit nervously now.
Salem looked at Max frowning, "Ash is a good person. He really is. He just needs someone to remind him of who he was before he came into all these powers and all of this authority. He feels himself on another level and only thinks on that level now. I don't even think he realizes how much being an all powerful Witch is destroying what humanity he had as a powerless immortal. Power is a deadly and vicious thing that can attack the soul. A lot of people who are Witches that I go to school with get in heated debates about it. The more I consider it I can imagine what it is like. For me...I'm a normal Witch. I have powers and my soul can maintain more mortality than his. Some have considered that Wraith's create themselves because their souls can't handle the power during Ascension. The closer they get to that date the more power they crave. If a Witch can pass through that and maintain their mortal half then they can remain a Witch in control of who they are. If they lose that part of themselves that holds no real powers or abilities and jsut thinks as a mortal then they become immortal in a vicious way. Ash has never been able to Ascend. He reached past that point powerless. What if his next birthday will be his true Ascension. Damien became what he became because he had no one truly holding him to this plane. His powers were growing and his soul wanted to Ascend into another higher plane. What if that is happening to Ash now? His soul is fighting with the power and he is fighting with himself on the inside. Morality verses immortality. His body wants a higher form and his soul wants to maintain it's inner humanity." Salem spoke as though he had given this a lot of thought. He was trying his best to understand why Damien wanted to become a Wraith and perhaps he found the answer himself. The power is much more than something given to just Witches. Before someone is born the power will brush against them and test the strength of their soul. Witches are the ones 'The Power' accepts and Ascending is the final test of 'The Power'. The soul being as fragile as it is will either choose, like a cell, immortality and evolution or morality and control.

Sorry to hear what happened I ahte it whent hat happens at work it is like they have no consideration for the people they work with.

wow that must suck. I was training anew girl today and surprisingly she wasn't at all like the idiot I trained last week. I showed her one time how to do things and she learned on the spot I was able to take two breaks and actually be lazy haha

Cedrik laughed almost cruelly, "Witch, you do realize if I wanted you dead a simple wooden door isn't going to stop me. Not to mention I would have already done it. I remember every soul I sacrificed so that I may live. I can't sacrifice the same soul twice. Your death would be pointless and I only have seventy-five deaths under my belt before the Summer Solstice. I need a hundred. If you actually counted as another individual soul I would consider killing you again, but you won't. The Horned God accepted you as an offering but was not nearly as pleased with you once he was forced to allow you to return to the living. Each death that occurs a piece of you will always exist in the hands of the Horned God. He is my father, brother, master, and lover. He holds all souls and as his follower it is my job to make sure that those borrowed are returned to him. You understand, don't you? I can't kill you because if I do you will simply come back and you will keep coming back until he has your soul entirely. You have a shattered soul and a shattered soul is not worth half as much as a whole soul. Like a penny you are worthless to me." Cedrik admitted not trying to sound rude or really caring if he did at all, but being very blunt and truthful with her.

Salem looked at both Kali and Eli feeling that they were both a perfect match. He wasn't entirely bothered by what Ash did him...At least not yet. So he decided to let them see he was fine without a word about it. "Well, even though I don't get a say in it...I approve." He smiled and Eli grinned ruffing up his hair a bit. As Salem flattened it down he looked back at Max, "Thanks. I will talk to Damien today about moving in with Kali and once I get settled I'd like to begin lessons." He turned looking toward the door. "So will this be the last time we ever have to hear from Ash again? I mean if you made him leave does that mean he want ask you to be in his army?" Salem's mind was racing. If Ash was withdrawing then Damien won already. As much as Salem supported Damien as his brother he didn't support hsi cause. He couldn't allow Damien to win so easily and if Ash lost then Damien won and that meant new rules were going into play and Ash would be hunted and killed. Salem wanted to race after Ash and stop him from walking away, but Max seemed set on not wanting him back in her home ever again.
Eli nodded to Kali..."Once Damien has cleared your home I do not wish to move in until our bond is complete. I won't be able to shift and protect you to the best of my ability until we have made a bond. So yes...I do accept." He began to consider the fact that if Witches were going to war then where would Eli be forced to stand? He looked at Kali trying his best to read her. The only real scent he could get from her was concern. She seemed to hold that scent often because even with her conditioner it lingered still.

I went to bed at seven this morning and woke up thirty minutes before work damn did I stay tired and lazy today or what while working.

Artemus listened and began to consider the exact same thing. If the Supreme Witch was saving her from others causing her harm why wasn't he saving her from herself? He had to think for a moment, "Maybe he isn't trying to take your right to freewill. Maybe he would let you do as you wish, but if a force outside of yourself causes harm the spell protects you as it technically isn't freewill. It's not as though you jumped off the cliff. And I'm sure when you shot yourself you weren't experiencing any fear at all. Just hatred and sadness. We will have to find him ourselves. Otherwise we will just be running aorund in circles trying to get him to come to us. Unless we put you in danger and make it a sure way that his spell wouldn't be able to harm you. But then again...I'd like to save my vials for when I need them. I've wasted to many on healing people." He explained irritated a bit now.

lol yeah ikr...okay goodnight feel better soon :)

Ash looked taken back, "He is completely fine. The fear that the Sleepwalker smelled was that Salem was unaware of what I was doing and reacted with fear because the only one who has ever ventured into his mind was Kali who did so undetected. I simply opened the door wide and let him know I was entering it. He is unharmed and is completely fine. Go on Salem, tell them you are fine. I did not attack an innocent. I know how much the boy stutters to get his thoughts in alignment and produce an accurate foretelling of such thoughts. I presumed going straight to the source was the best course of action. I may have only become a Witch recently but I hold all of my mother's knowledge and power. Disgrace to you or not. If I truly intended to harm the boy I would have done so and I would have already disposed of his brother as well. I looked into his visions and I saw two halves of the future. I want to let everyone get out of this alive. If I can avoid war I will, but Damien is so set on rallying troops I have no choice but to retaliate. If any of you had a speck of sense you would know that I want peace and harmony for our kind and all kinds upon this Earth. I have not spilled any innocent blood in this age, yet. I do not plan to start now. I want to handle this with me against Damien, but if he is so set on gaining forces to challenge my authority I will do what is necessary to ensure our kinds survival. Accept it! Witches are a dying breed. If we do not make peace with human civilization we will die out entirely. Kali, Salem, Damien even are all assets and keys to the survival of our kind. If I wanted to kill anyone I would have already done so. You can take my words for what you want. I have a burning bridge to rebuild in the meantime." Ash spoke calmly and did not dare challenge so many who could aid him. Instead he walked past them. "I look forward to our next meeting Salem." He said and he walked out the door. Eli gave a low growl with a hand on Salem's shoulder.
Salem was left speechless. He didn't know fully what to say to anyone. He was grateful for so many backing him up, but at the same time it made him feel weak. Like he couldn't handle his own problems. "I should be heading home. Um...Max...Whenever if you would still want to help out a traitor to a cause...I'd like to learn how to fight. Without magic." He said the last bit rather firmly as he knew if Damien lost and Ash was hit hard enough their family would be sentenced into mortality forever. All of their powers would be stripped from them.

Artemus shrugged and in an inhuman blur of speed he tossed ehr from the top of the cavern mouth. He watched her fall then a bright light amd ehim shield his eyes as it took the form of fire in the shape of a phoenix. Artemus watched in amazement as Florence was engulfed by the fire and somehow was laid gently on the ground. Not dead as Artemus could hear her heart beating quickly. "Tha bloody Witch has you spelled! I swear if another Witch in thsi town curse someone I will rip them to shreds. I am sick and tired of fucking Witches!" Artemus lept down and landed firmly on his feet as an echo went through the cave like thunder as he hit solid ground. He stood over Florence, "Are you alright?" He said behind gritted teeth.

lol I get along with my managers. We fight and argue at work, but outside of work we party, drink and chase each other half naked around fires hahaha.

((I know I'm still very sorry. I got way to carried away this time and I feel like total shit for doing it because you always feel the need to attempt to match....))
The guys looked a bit offended but left respectfully as no one was going to ask MAx for a drink. They walked out and left quickly passing both Eli and Kali. Wes rolled his eyes walking by them, "You can have her man. Your sobs were better than my game. She is a stiff anyway." Eli wanted to tackle the guy and rip his throat out just for disrespecting a lady. He was brought up to obey and respect females. Defying his mother and attempting to kill her was the first and last time he ever acted in such a manner of disrespect toward a woman. He looked up at Kali above the rim of his sunglasses. "Truthfully, I didn't come here because Damien asked me to. On the way here some voice in the back of my mind was pulling me closer and urging me to be here. I can't fully explain it, but the closer I got the more I thought that my life was going to change for the better. This was my chance at redemption for my sins and crimes. I wanted more for the life I was being forced to live into eternity. I was tired of sulking and I want a purpose to live for. I want someone to live for." Eli's words were as true as they could be. His mind was basically an echo of what he was saying. No secrets nothing hidden. He kept everything in the open, but secluded himself when in crowds. He didn't want to be as much of a disappointment as he had believed hismelf to be today, but there was no turning back, and yet, the Witch before him sent all of the Sleepwalkers away when he was the one who walked away of his own accord. "Even before Damien messaged me...I felt like something had to change to better myself and someone else. Him getting ahold of me was just part of the wake up call and the rehabilitation process I guess." He smiled a bit shyly. He felt entirely silent for a moment. He was smelling the air. "I smell fear...Salem!" He said it quickly and jsut as quickly he raced back into the house. He hated leaving Kali standing in confusion, but he felt obligated to Salem just as much as he wanted to be to Kali. Ash stood backing up as the Sleepwalker entered the kitchen. "Stay away from him. I am picking no side of yours or Damien's. I am here for Kali and I found another add on to my charges. You touch Salem again and I will feed you your kidneys."
Ash could have been a real dick and attacked the Sleepwalker. He could have retaliated with some ugly words, but instead he bowed his head in respect and backed away a bit more. "I was only trying to help."
Salem rubbed his head feeling like his mind had jsut physically been raped and invaded in ways that he did not like at all. Salem looked to Ciara once more...Ash frowned, "My offer stands for only so long, Salem. Don't be like the unicorn and ignore the calling to the Ark."
Eli got Salem to stand and pushed him a bit defensively to the side as he glared at Ash growling low in the back of hsi throat.

I hope she does for your sake.

Cedrik raised an eyebrow. "You told me you could die at any moment. The same could happen to me. I was kind enough to watch over you while you slept off the drink. Consider it your lucky chance at life. I was considering killing you." He said smirking devilishly charming. Cedrik couldn't help but try and remember the place and time they had met. "Oh yes, I remember you. It was 1932 in Chicago. Me and my lover held a dinner party and your friend...What has her name...Oh yes, Ronda. She put up a good fight against my lover after she was cursed with insanity. Unfortunately, her like all the others were eaten alive. All but you. You were shaking scared hiding behind a curtain. I comforted you and as my lover was sentenced to death I made love to you...well, you thought I was making love, but in fact I was getting a bit of fun out of comforting you before I choked you in your sleep with my bare hands. The look in your eyes was delightful. Filled with so much hope for life and yet cut short by a Wraith. We did have some fun for a night. You were intoxicated and the aura that me and my lover put off together even after she was made insane was enough to make even you dazed. You were naive then. Now you are just as frightened and yet accepting of death. How interesting." He laughed harshly. "So...You going to open the door?" He asked sounding so sweetly. Even as he spoke of what he did to her and how he did it he sounded charming as if trying to entice her once more.

Oh well I'd report her.

((Sorry that it is so long I promise you have to be no where near that long. I just really got into this one for some reason, but I promise I'll tie my fingers up from now on...Sorry D: ))

Ash walked into the room leaning in the doorway and looking at Salem like a prize to be won. "Awe, it's alright Salem...I was not rooting for him anyway. I personally like Wes. He has a bit about him that seems to grasp an audience. He is fit in human form and an alligator certainly is not the sort of thing someone would want to challenge. You would be making a good choice with him. I must say as much as I hate Damien he has picked a good bunch. Jason and Kaleb would be good choices too, but I feel like you are doing better with Wes. He has his head together enough and he seems to be dominant out of all of them. I am sure if it came to defending you he would do so bravely." Ash was not trying to make the choice for her, but he wanted to know that Kali was going to be well protected. Not to mention the fact that Wes was rather attractive to Ash in appearance and personality. "Naturally, the choice is all yours. Do not let me get in your way...In the mean time, Salem care for some coffee and light conversation?"
Salem could tell that Ash was planning something. His mind was working as fast as Ash's to figure out just what he had planned. In truth Salem didn't want to fight anybody. In a matter of hours his friends and family had become divided. Now he was facing a point in his mind that pulled him apart. Ash was smart he had centuries of knowledge under his belt and yet Salem wanted to play smarter. "I'm good on coffee...I hit my head pretty hard earlier at school and I don't think caffeine would be good for it. I might have a concussion." Ash nodded as Salem spoke, "Understandable, perhaps I can aid with such an issue. Come on...Leave Kali to make her decision. Oh and do not worry about Elijah. He is waiting for you outside. He feels guilty for bringing you here and walking out. He will offer you a ride when you leave." Ash spoke calmly and like a casual friend. Salem couldn't help but to listen to the guy as he was the Supreme it seemed only respectful. He crossed between Kali and the remaining three Sleepwalkers and entered the kitchen where Damien's other Blessed One sat with her brother. Ash let Salem sit down before he kindly moved behind him to rub his neck. "Relax. I have enough power to fix whatever problems are up here." He said moving his hands to Salem's temples. Ash closed his eyes and Salem's widened as his previous vision came to light once more. Ash was honing in on Salem's vision specifically to see what he had seen. Salem's veins all tightened and his teeth gritted. The poor kid looked like he was going through major shock therapy. Ash nodded as he released him and Salem gasped..."What did you do?" Ash smirked, "Well, before I was protecting an asset, now...I have more than one to protect. Kali she chose you to replace her should anything happen. That's when the visions got worse for you and it went from past, to present...and now future, is it not?" Salem nodded a bit frightened now. "Damien has plans for you Salem. I do not want either myself or him to be made out as a bad guy. While Damien is looking out for our kind I am looking out for all kinds. I am not going to make you choose sides. I want you to simply stay alive and from your vision I can see that it is in the description of a prophecy. Of which only you and Kali will ever be able to solve as all prophecies only the Seer can understand them. You are a Seer's Apprentice. You have yet to reach Novice and are already proving yourself worthy of a higher Coven. As Supreme Witch I will create a council who wields power and makes the choices of all Witch Covens. We will be the authority. I will serve as the leader of such a Coven. Perhaps once you have reached Novice I could call upon you in such a time to join that Coven. I will only allow Seven seats of power. I shall give you time to think on it, but I am gathering those who challenge me most and still stand by me to lead this world of Witches. We will be the new world order. This is a great position to uphold and it will be asking you to break your bonds to your family and friends and consider a wider range as those who you must protect." Ash spoke calmly as he moved sitting in front of Salem. "Not only will this Coven hold Seven seats of power but there shall also be a seat for a Sleepwalker, Wraith, Cursed or Blessed One, and a Mortal of Witch blood. I want unity in this world and by achieving that I will have to make allegiance with even Wraiths. I hope if your brother survives this war I will be able to ask him to join such a council as well." Salem said nothing he simply turned looking back at Kali and Max then out the window to Eli who was leaning against his bike smoking a cigarette. He finally looked at Ciara. She must have been the one that Ash was going to consider for the Blessed One seat of power or if he took her curse he may simply still consider her an asset of sorts. Salem just couldn't figure out what game Ash was playing. He was on another level of existence and it worried him that he wanted Salem to ascend to such a plane.

Patrick left and the others walked in Salem tried staying close to the door in case Ash decided to walk in and attack him or try to persuade him to be on his side. Eli stood next to Salem and closed the door behind everyone. Upon hearing that Kali could read their minds he began to wonder how far it went. Could she see his dark truths and know the beatings he had to endure for nearly three years before becoming a Sleepwalker? Could she see that the reasoning was that he tried to kill his mother for the horrible things she had in mind and his father tried to save her when he didn't agree with her methods either? He decided quickly that she could and upon that decision he kept her answers in his mind. He wasn't about to let a load of self-righteous Sleepwalkers hear everything in his mind much less hear him talk longer than fifteen seconds. He looked over Kali and felt like she wasn't for the whole situation taking place. She seemed kind, but she didn't act as though her heart was set on having a Familiar. It almost made him want to leave, but something told him that if he did he would regret it somehow. "I'm a red wolf. The only wolf known to hold the combination of both wolf and coyote DNA and still remain an independent species." Eli spoke then quickly dismissed himself as he became more focused on the floor. Wes rolled his eyes. "Thanks for that lovely introduction of animal planet enthusiasts, but we are all here because we heard you need a Familiar not a zoology lesson." Kaleb sniggered for moment. "I'm here because I owe Damien Devereux. I consider becoming a Familiar for someone he wants protected as payment in return for what he did for me." Kaleb killed a number of Witches in a Coven in Arkansas. Damien helped cover it up as Kaleb acted out of fear. The sad part was he liked killing them and Damien must have seen that in him. Quinton nodded in agreement, "Yeah same here." Jason frowned, "I came because I know what's coming and I figure if I have the protection of a Witch they have mine I'm on a good playing field." At least he was honest. Eli looked up made eye contact with Kali for just a moment knowing very well that was enough for her to see into everything. "I came here because Damien asked me to. I've been debating on if I should even bother trying. I can't turn into the strongest animal or the fastest or one that can fly or be of any real use but to bark, howl, and bite. But I can look at you and tell that you are at as many odds as I am with such a decision and I get that you would rather not have a Familiar at all. Personally, before meeting Salem here I didn't want to be a Familiar, but I can see what sort of hard times this world will be undergoing. I'm not stupid. I was a Witch once and I won't lie and say that I'm here because of Damien. I'm here for my own reasons. I'm challenging myself. I'm still debating with myself even. I'd have to say that to me it isn't the question of why I'm here so much as why are you allowing us to be here? What makes you seem so set on listening to someone else make up your mind for you? Just because you don't have offensive powers isn't a good answer because a Witch is a Witch no matter what powers they have. You hold value to them, but have yet to ask yourself what value do you hold to people who aren't apart of this war? So if you wouldn't mind answering, why are we here? Then maybe I could ready myself for a better answer." Eli shook his head, "Listen I'm sorry. I'm wasting your time and mine in believing that someone would want a Sleepwalker as a Familiar without deciding it for themselves." He turned toward the door. Salem was quick to stop him though, "That's it? Really? You are going to say that you don't know why you are here and give an elaborated answer as to why you really are here and walk away?" Eli gently moved Salem out of the way, "Listen, Salem...I wouldn't be here at all if you hadn't shown me how to get here. I stopped by the school because I smelled you. Out of all the Witches in that school you stood out. You have a dirty conscience and believe it or not so do I and neither of us are the guilty ones to anyone but ourselves. No matter how much we tell ourselves that we will never believe it and this attractive Witch looking for a Familiar isn't looking for someone who has a lot on their mind. I've been around enough mind readers to know that. Now I think about it beyond that scent Salem you aren't a bad person you just put your thoughts in bad places." Eli was the sort to read a person without having the gift to read their mind. He couldn't help that at all, but even if he was wrong he knew that Kali wouldn't want him at all. He knew he wasn't worth the risk of being a Witches Familiar. He had a past that haunted him every single day and it made him strive and wish for death. He wanted to be able to have someone lean on him for support and he do the same to them, but he knew a Witch wanted a Familiar who was obedient and strong. He was only loyal and faithful.
Salem glared at him fully, "You know what you are exactly right. Kali doesn't want someone with a lot on their mind. She wants someone who is willing to push that aside from their mind and listen to her. I can tell you are listening to every word that she is saying and every word that she isn't saying. So if you came all this way why did you come here?"
Eli smirked, "I like you, kid. You aren't scared to speak you mind. I don't mind it either, but I'm not for sharing in large groups." He turned back to Kali, "Sorry again for wasting your time." He opened the door and closed it behind him.
Wes rolled his eyes, "You know the moment I saw that guy I thought all he had was demons. Now I can tell he is just another nut job with voices in his head." Kaleb laughed along with Wes for a moment before looking back at Kali...Jason nodded to her, "So which of us is it gonna be? You sent one home and another left of his own accord...I'm not going to lie, babe...I'm looking forward to the ritual of bondage...If you are into that sort of thing." Kaleb and Wes both shared a grin looking Kali over and debating what sort of person she was in bed. They could care less about her being a Witch needing protection. They owed Damien and they came running like good little dogs, but once a dog always a dog. They were in it for what they could get out of it not what Kali would get out of it because to them she was getting them and that was enough. Typical raging testosterone male.

Salem grinned, "Hey to you too...I'm fine...I had a life threatening situation at school but I made it out alive, thanks to Eli here." Eli nodded, "Um, hi..." He said not enjoying the fact that there was crowd of people. From the look on Max's face he felt a bit uncomfortable. They were the two tallest in the group of Sleepwalkers and yet she was the intimidating one. One of the guys in the back grinned, "Not only did I smell Witches, but I could have sworn I smelled a female Sleepwalker. You certainly know how to mark your territory, babe." He was said with a cheesy grin. He was tan and blonde. He looked like a surfer wearing swim shorts and a tank top. "The name's Wes. Care to see if I'm the lucky bachelor?" Eli rolled his eyes at Wesley. "Should we start this interview inside or outside?" Eli asked rubbing the back of his neck as he took off his sunglasses. He felt like it would be rude to not let a Witch look him in the eyes. At least that was how he was raised when he was a Witch.
Salem simply looked at the guys and for some reason felt like they were all very attractive, but the guy standing right next to him was the one who performed mouth to mouth. He started thinking a bit on the naughty side, but realized Kali was there and decided to stop thinking so loudly.
Another guy stepped forward. He was shorter than the rest but built. He had a scar under his eye stretching across his cheek bone. He was wearing faded jeans and a black v-neck. his hair was a bit messy and he certainly smelled like a man like he had been working all day long and jsut got off of work with no shower. "I'm Jason...For reference I turn into a Falcon. Wes is an alligator." Another guy stepped up a bit, "Sup, I'm Kaleb...I guess I should say that I turn into a tarantula." He was thin and pale looking. He had light brown hair that grew over his ears and eyebrows. He was wearing skinny jeans and it looked like he had failed in an attempt to rub black nail polish off his fingers. He seemed to have just as many tattoos as Eli, but the colours were faded and no very pleasant images.
Another guy who had a light sweep in his hair like a skateboarder thing going on with a hoodie and swag stepped up, "I'm Quinton Love...I turn into a dog." A guy behind him made a fake cough, "A Pomeranian..." He laughed shoving Wes a bit. Quinton turned with a glare..."No actually a Doberman if you must know." Finally the last guy in the back stepped up and he looked like an abercrombie model. Tall, lean, fit, shirtless and wearing blue jeans and flipflops. He had beautiful blue eyes and light blonde hair almost white. "I'm Patrick. I would say a little more, but it seems with so many introductions must be kept short. I'm a grey wolf."
Eli still didn't say what he turned into. He simply kept his eyes on the floor and waited to be invited in. The other guys were thinking about sex, partying, and Patrick was just wanting to get back to his wife and kids in New Orleans. All seemed to be thinking something that had nothing to do with the situation at hand. Eli could only imagine what would happen if he became the Familiar of the Witch and she beat him. Horrible flashbacks of what his mother put him through or what if his mother found him and put Kali's life in danger. What if he wouldn't be able to save her.

ya we are only allowed smoke breaks during regular break times.
