YAY!!! :D

Artemus looked up breathing heavily. He saw her and glared, "Bloody Hell! You can't act like a Witch or a Hunter with the willpower to fight against draining. Pathetic if you call yourself a hunter. Typical American always acting at their best only when at their best never able to push limits. Come on get up." Artemus said propping ehr up against a tree as he pulled his pants and underwear back on then his shoes. "We haven't got all day. Witches are more vulnerable during the day. They have too many secrets to reveal themselves to mortals." He siad plainly grabbing his jacket full of weapons. "I haven't got all day. I have a bike out here just off from the woods."

Cedrik looked at Aurelia a bit coldly, "Fine, Aurelia. Heal me and be done with it. It isn't easy to pass through Hell and come out alive without using one of the Seven Trials of Hekate to do it. If you don't care clothes would be most appreciated. What are you doing trying to heal me if it isn't even one of your abilities? You could slip up and kill someone that way if you aren't careful." Cedrik spoke harshly and not sounding appreciative at all, not that she did either. "I have places to be so can we get the painful part out of the way. It isn't easy being immortal when there are not just hunters after you but Witches too. I need to find cover before nightfall." He spoke almsot urgently. He was paranoid and desperate to get someone to kill. He needed such energy to heal fully. Lucifer was powerful, but the realm he created was even more powerful. The netherworld was designed to torture every kind of soul, Witch, mortal...even immortal. It didn't matter. Lucifer's realm was made not by him but as a prison for him and all others who fell in line with him. He was being desperate now. No body, mortal or immortal was meant to pass through and return from the gardens of the Horned God. He needed to kill...Cedrik needed blood not water.

cool cool. :)

oh

Where is everybody at?

Artemus slithered from his pants in his serpentine form. He twisted up her arm slowly before finding a good vein. His long fangs glistened in the sun light that was pushing through the trees. His scales shining like water sprayed over a rock. His eyes were cold and set on hers as he struck hard into her forearm. The glowing light moved through her vein and into him. He released and as he did so the snake became covered in an aura of the beautiful blue as it burned away like a vapor form his body. His scales cracked and ripped as human flesh reveled itself underneath. The snake grew larger and slowly human arms burst from it and then legs. The snake's form quickly faded and seemed to burn away with the aura like ashes and cinders. In it's place, heavily breathing, Artemus rested on the ground in the buff. His body was glossy like the snake scales covered in sweat. Everything was bright and blurry again, but he was slowly coming too.

Cedrik rolled his eyes and set the glass back in the sink. He turned looking at her, "Listen Witch...I'm not planning on burning down anything right now. I plan on surviving in this town for at least a month. Maybe longer if I am to answer the call of my master and claim a new leader to follow. If you have felt it yet you will soon. A new power is rising. Two powers of great strength are challenging one another to a war and I have had my side in this war chose for me. Excuse me if it isn't the morning you wanted to wake up to a Wraith in your hosue who actually was kind enough to spare your life and see you home safely. I will not keep you any longer." He said as he moved past her and started to walk toward the door.

Eli allowed his light grin to turn into a full smile. "I'll be there at seven. Is that alright?" He asked wanting to make sure she didn't have anything more important to do. He was rather excited to go on a date. He had been set up in an arranged marriage in Greece before all Hell broke loose and he had taken her on one date before he was sentenced to torture. Eli was hoping that this date didn't turn out the same way. Deep down he held the fear of it happening. He stood a bit straighter. He was as tall as Max and it felt good to have someone at his height. Salem was tall, but not as tall. Eli felt like he could stand straighter with other people around that were at his height.
Salem smirked, "I'd love to help you learn to wear something less gothic. Who knows we might be able to get normal people tp check you out by the time I'm finished." He offered a teasing grin before looking up at Eli. "I think Damien chose well with you. If I didn't know any better I'd say he picked you for Kali and just put the others in for show." Eli shook his head, "Don't count on it. Damien is clever and smart, but I have more skeletons in my closet than any of those guys. If he picked me on purpose he wasn't thinking clearly when he did." Salem jsut rolled his eyes at Eli. "She will be ready by seven don't worry. I will make sure of it." He promised.
Eli nodded and leaned forward kissing Kali's cheek lightly, "Until tonight." He said with a light tone in her ear. "And don't worry...Normal people are overrated I like you just the way you are."
Salem laughed a bit, "She is pretty great, but man...I wish I could charm like you." He admitted. Being around Kali just a few days made him pretty much speak his mind more fully. He hated it and loved it at the same time.
Eli gave them all a nod and looked directly at Max..."When training this one, take note that he is very hard headed. It may save his life one day...Actually, it did ave his life today." Eli said plainly before turning to the door and walking outside to his bike. He started it up and put on his helmet. He pulled out of the drive way and did a wheelie before taking off down the road.
Salem looked down for a moment, "Ya know, if it wouldn't be night time that Kali ad her date I'd ask if we could train tonight, but given you might have a problem with opposable thumbs I probably will be stuck at her place by myself." He said to Max sounding a bit bummed about it. "I wonder if Variel is alright at home with that Stefan guy. He is a bed hog...I hope he isn't like that when he is awake." He said with a light laugh.

Eli felt a light smile work across his lips as she pecked his cheek. He wasn't thinking it before, but now he was. even just as her Familiar were the circumstances different and they were both two normal people who met under convenient circumstances he could see a reason for wanting to live forever in her. Sure it wasn't now really, but maybe a few years down the road it could have been. "I think I can manage a date. I have some money saved up. I could swing by your place tonight. I'll get the address from Damien. Maybe a nice dinner and some casual small talk would be nice for a change." Eli admitted as his smile brightened a bit..."As for the death thing it was all I could think of without preparing everything I say before hand. A spare the moment thought. Next time I'll find a way to twist it a bit in comparrison with a butterfly...How does that sound?" He said a bit charmingly. Almost like he was pushing to hit on her, but as far as his thoughts went he was focused on who she was rather than how hot she was or how good she might be in bed. He liked her light-hearted and free spirit attitude which seemed to mix well with a bit of down-to-earthness and compassion for those around her. He was probably one of the only guys out there who would look at a girl like Kali and think,
"Wow, she is beautiful inside and out. She has a gorgeous soul." Eli could only imagine what life would be like if he were human and she were human and they knew nothing of Witches and the war and Familiars protecting those Witches even the ones who were harsh and brutal towards them. He could only imagine if they met anyway differently he would still be asking her out on a date for some small talk.
Salem looked at Max rather pointedly..."Yeah, I guess you are right. I just wonder if I can be part of that help and I know Damien being a Wraith and all can't turn back from killing because it is his only way to survive. But I hope I can help Ash at least realize he is still the same guy he was before the powers. Responsibility shouldn't ever change someone so much that they are no longer recognizable from the person they once were." He looked at Kali and Eli and was happy that she might have found somebody as disturbed and as compassionate as she was. It was funny almost as he thought about it. He began to wonder if he might find someone like that again. Someone like his best friend that he lost. Salem got snapped out of his more repressed depressing memories as he heard Kali's phone go off. It was Damien.
"No hunters, and the house is cleaned up. Pets are alive and in closet."

Salem frowned feeling that Max was saying that Ash wasn't having trouble with who he was it was all his choice of freewill. As a human or once human Max wouldn't understand it, but as a Witch Salem felt there had to be more at play to make someone do such horrible things. Ash was his own commander. Ash was powerful and Salem wanted to believe that even for Damien it wasn't morals he was finding the lines to draw, but it was deeper than that. Beyond the aspect of a God or Goddess and beyond the aspect of morality. Salem wanted to believe that 'The Power' was something that tested willpower. Every Witch faced such a test during and before Ascension. If Salem knew better he would have thought that Ash was being stupid, but at this point he wanted to know that something bigger than himself was at play. If the devil existed why couldn't something even beyond him exist? For Salem it wasn't the matter that Witches existed as an evolved for of human, but for him it was Witches existed because of 'The Power'. He looked Max dead set in the eyes, "So you are saying there is no hope of getting Ash back? There is no hope of saving Damien from himself? I can't think that way. You have a soldier's mind. You have morals and you have order. I have more than that. I have morals and I have faith." Salem was clear in his tone that he wasn't trying to argue or showoff who is the better person. He was simply trying to believe that something more than himself was working inside of those he cared for to make them do the things they did. Whether it be dark forces or light forces Salem felt there had to be more in this world than just Witches and humans."
Eli listened fully. He did understand Kali and how she felt about it. "I respect that you want to grant me with a life I know nothing of. I also can say even though I may not be prepared for such a bonding I am ready to accept it. Like death no one is prepared but everyone must be ready to accept it when the time comes. I'm ready to bond my soul with yours and be connected for eternity. I want you to see my darkest secrets and hear my darkest thoughts without the fear of what I think and feel for you is nothing more than lust. I want you to know now that this is no lust. Whatever it might be it is far from such a degrading vice as that." Eli was being extremely truthful. It was true. He didn't consider the bond as banging or getting laid. He saw it as a connection. For Eli this was a time that a Witch and a Sleepwalker would choose to be with one another through the darkest of times. Such a bonding was powerful and so many Witches took it for granted. He saw it as an opportunity to grow within himself for another persons well being. He wanted Kali safe. He wanted Salem safe. He couldn't explain it even before the bonding, but he knew deep down it was true. If it meant having intercourse without a proper date and getting to know one another for at least three more dates then he was willing to make such a connection right then and in that very moment he was willing to ensure both of their lives were protected by him. Sex was not part of the equation. It was the binding of two separate souls into one. For Eli such a connection was beyond sex and beyond making love with a soulmate. Such a connection was a contract between two bodies and two souls in the most sensual way possible for two to merge together as a whole. He knew Kali saw this in him and he wanted her to be aware of it more fully in thought. He wanted her to know that for him it wasn't sex. It wasn't another name for sex. It was the most crucial part of a ritual making two halves whole.

Brilliant!!!

Well it is always good to be able to get by with mistakes and be fussed out by a supervisor.
let me know when you get ready to get off please.

Artemus wasn't paying much attention to the sky, but in Florence's little rant of hatred he had not paid any mind to the time of night or day rather. "Florence...I saved your life. Maybe he knew I would. Maybe he already saw me coming and knew if you shot yourself you would have help...I get it. You didn't want me to help you, but now I'm asking for your help. The sun is coming up. I need soul energy to remain human. Let me bite you...Please. Before it's too late. I'm running out of time and by the time I find someone to bite Andrew will have skipped town and forgotten us both. I want to help you find him and kill him. For myself and not just you. I want to be free of Witches and I want my sister to be free of them. Please...Help me and we can keep a search going." He was begging desperately as light shined from the horizon and through the trees. Artemus covered his eyes and as he did so he melted into his pants and shoes seeming to vanish entirely. All that remained was the smokey essence of the bit of soul he had taken from Florence once already. It seemed like a vapor as it smoked form his body and then jsut his clothes. A hissing came from his pants and a bit of movement. He was a snake again.

Cedrik rolled his eyes at the door and moved to explore her pleasant home. He was in his underwear still and his wounds from the fires of Hell were still smoldering. He had black burn marks and still smelled of burning sulfur and rubber. Cedrik grabbed a glass of water and as he held it the glass began to crack and the water within was bubbling. "Oh no...I can't...Father! Why? I need more power. I have no control anymore and I want more power. You have not sent another child of yours to me in over a hundred years. How can I maintain control without a circle?" Much like praying to God Cedrik was talking to the devil. He felt his powers as a Witch move within him and having the blood of Lucifer in his veins was a bit of an issue as such powers as Hell's Fire wanted to surface. Cedrik knew he only summoned such force to the earth when he was in the mood to truly create destruction, but at this moment it was not the time. He had to find power. He had to kill. Aurelia would be worthless in killing for power. He needed a fresh untouched and unbroken soul.

Yeah On a day like that I do meat and cheese slicers, salad bar, hot bar, and kitchen.
