I love this fourth book in the Stillhouse Lake series. Gwen Proctor is an amazing woman, and her kids and Sam are her entire world. I felt so bad (view spoiler) I was so happy when his mom stood up to the bully's mom in the hospital. I also wonder (view spoiler)
I am loving this read.

WALL-E: Features a robot

The first couple of chapters describe the famine in Ireland, and the response from London. I really hate that Whig in London who said the potato blight was a curse from God to Ireland for its slothfulness. Just outrageous. I was equally moved by Daniel Webster's plea to Congress and the nation to help Ireland, and the establishment of the USA's first humanitarian mission.
