I had read about half of book 2 a year ago and decided I needed to start over. Debating on rereading crescent city first. Thoughts?

lol Jessica, you and I are so similar re: buddy reads. Like I don’t plan them but I see other people reading stuff and I’m like yea I’ll get into that. All of a sudden I added 10 books to my TBR for the month lol

(view spoiler)[ I’m really glad I finished this in the sense that I didn’t give up because it wasn’t a fly through book. It felt like a 300 page intro which was not great. I personally would have removed so many things that made no impact on me slash the story, but maybe it comes to light in the rest of the series? Ch.22-41 (view spoiler)[ more princes was a nice add on for these chapters although not sure where we are headed. Her making out with Wrath was inevitable but what an odd time to do it and then she f-ed it up. I put that on her not him. Then after 300 pages Nonna decided it’s time to tell Emilia “everything.” Which ends up being nothing helpful. “Love is the most powerful magic.” Right but what?!
