I agree about the sister. It made no sense, (view spoiler)[ how she just randomly found Bane? Like why did she even go after her actually. I did read this one on my cruise and I’m so glad I waited to be on the ship haha. I had no WiFi so percents aren’t accurate.

25% (view spoiler)[ why do a lot of these books have an angry sister, a dependent sister and a savior sister?! Is that what’s trending? Some parts jump for me too. Not in a way that’s confusing but enough that I pause and go what? (view spoiler)[

50% (view spoiler)[ I like that the magic is subtle in this book. Like no one is out there casting spells but it does help explain a lot of the scenarios. Ria is not the most interesting of characters. The back and forth with Sebastian is supposed to be intriguing but I find it annoying. (view spoiler)[

75% (view spoiler)[ I like the curse from the sea goddess but it’s being dragged out a little bit. What’s happening with his kingdom?? Also it seems really vague. Like she loved him so she stole his heart and cursed him to 300 years to do what? (view spoiler)[

Finished! (view spoiler)[ I liked how they killed off Bane, as in interesting kill, but it made no sense why Nerida did it. I also don’t get why the sea “spirits” have more say than the goddess? So I read this in my cruise and had no WiFi so my updates are estimates not exact percentages. I also didn’t realize it was a series. I think I’ll read the second one.

Hey team it is unlikely I will finish my CR in time for end of this challenge. I had to return Cherish to the library and I’m only 20% into the Zodiac Academy book 8. This has been a great challenge team with you all!!
