Gabriella’s comments from the Better Read Than Dead Book Club group.

I have finally read the first two chapters and am interested. Maybe this will be the book to get me out of my slump?

I'm planning on starting it soon. Hopefully. This slump is seriously a killer. I keep picking up books and putting them down.

Who is excited?

To be clear, there is no picking. Just future members probably won't get one. All current members who are interested definitely get a bookmark! LOl.

Just so y'all know since we are reading Never Always Sometimes by Adi Alsaid in September, Adi was nice enough to send me some bookmarks to give you guys. I'm thinking of sending them out in August and I only have enough for our current members, but if you want one just let me know!

For next month's book we're looking for something unlike what we've already read and are open to suggestions and we'll narrow it down before putting up a poll.

Does anyone have any suggestions for books we should check out?

I hope y'all are ready for our June novel! I've heard great things about Eleanor and Park. Have any of you actually heard anything negative about it, just curious. Also, who has their copy already? I certainly do!

I told myself I was going to comment as I read so I can discuss it with y'all. Well today I sat down to read two chapters and ended up finishing the whole book after 5 hours. I don't want to spoil anything, but I fell in love with Étienne St. Clair. I now understand all of the hype surrounding Stephanie Perkins. I hope all of y'all enjoy it as much as I did. Keep me updated?
