You can make books free on Amazon. It takes some resourcefulness. They will price match, so if you can get your book on another bookselling place that allows you to set the price to free, then you can get your book to be free on Amazon. It takes some time though to pull off. :)

You build a fan base one reader at a time.

There is no quick way.
There is no secret ingredient.
There is no magic bullet.

It takes years. :)

Norma, AKA N.J. Kuhr - Calm Before The Storm now has fan art. Here is that vital point in the plot where Emory Bryn discovers the secret past of protagonist! Turns out her big secret was that she was totes a mermaid!

I can confirm that this is a problem.

I didn't understand Hashtags at first... and then... magic happened.

I needed a character trait for one of my main characters as she was fun, but lacking something to make her #ReallyUnique. I turned her catch phrases into hashtags and she #OwnedIt! Now I love them, and make up absurd ones just for fun.

On Social Media they are invaluable for helping keep track of things, especially on Twitter, which isn't a website that makes it easy to find old posts!

It took me months of trying to get my book to work on various platforms before I finally got it to work! Curse you fancy layout that I love!

I eventually had to make it like a textbook. However - I had turned my actual print sized book into a kindle book, and it was next to impossible to read! So very tiny!

I fixed it once GG Showed me what it looked like! Poor people that read that! I felt so bad.

I was curious.

I just submitted a book with an odd amount, they automatically insert an extra blank at the end if you do that!
