King's Cage 5 Stars
Continued rereading this series.

Oh, the Thinks You Can Think! 3 stars
This is the fault of this book club. You mentioned Dr. Suess in the checkin, so when I saw a Suess I had not read in Cosco I had to read it.

Slaying It 4 Stars
A novella from a beloved series.

Three to Get Deadly 3 stars
I thought I was done with this series but I owned this book and it fit a PS challenge. I liked this one the most so far in the series and now I want to read #4.

Scythe 2 Stars
Cool sci-fi idea, somehow it was boring. My YA Addict book club read the third in the series for a monthly read so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Currently Reading:
Ninth House Seeing How I didn't like Deborah Harkness's series you would think this book wouldn't hold my attention, but so far so good.

PS 2020 23/50
PS 2016 11/40

I read a lot of YA; not much middle grade.

152458 Just a thought. You could do a poll for favourite Suess book.

152458 Finished:
Deadly Class, Volume 4: Die for Me 3 Stars
This series got turned into a tv show last year and that's how I first discovered it. It is very dark and disturbing but I liked the tv series anyway; sadly it only got one season. This volume seemed to be killing people on every page yet it was less disturbing than previous volumes for me.

Glass Sword 5 Stars
Continuing to reread this series. I liked this book more than the first time I read it.

Exit Strategy 4 Stars
I love Murderbot. This series has subtle humour and I totally enjoy it.

Sweep with Me 4 Stars
One of my favourite authors. This is not my favourite series from them but this novella was quite good.

PS 2020 21/50
PS 2016 10/40
Currently Reading:
King's Cage

Love Love Love Dr. Seuss. My grandma had a ton of them and they were all read to me. My favourite was One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

Haha, you are correct. I clearly didn't notice the over lap when I counted the books for each pen name. My bad.

152458 Priory if the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon

You can use this for author in their twenties, she was born in 1991. I think the dragon on the cover is upside down. Definitely passes the Blechdel test. The book flips through 4 different characters perspectives. If memory serves 2 are in their twenties and one is a queen so that’s a world leader. It’s also got more than twenties letters in the title.

152458 Harsh weather up here this week made for good reading time.

Finished:
Red Glove Book 2 of the curse workers series.
Holly Black is one of my favourite authors who writes books I have trouble putting down. This book was the book I liked the least of the series. 3 stars

Black Heart Book 3 of the curse workers series.
This was a good ending to the series. I still would have liked the series to continue but Holly Black knows when to end a story so as not to jump the shark. 4 stars

Children of Virtue and Vengeance Book 2
Tomi Adeyemi is a talented writer, who created an interesting world and strong characters. l liked this better than the first book but it wasn't an easy read for me. Throughout the book the three main characters do things to make you love them or hate them. I made myself finish this book because it was one of my book club's monthly reads for February. The ending was really great and I need to find out what happens in the next one. 3 stars

Currently Reading:
Glass Sword Book 2 of Red Queen series
I am rereading this series. I loved the series the first time round and it's still as enjoyable.

Popsugar 19/50

QOTW: Pop sugar challenges have helped me read outside of the fantasy/sci-fi genre but nothing has hooked me.

I wasn't counting comic books. Victoria Schwab and V.E. Schwab are the same author and between the two pen names there are more than 20 books. The same goes for Sophie Kinsella and Madeline Wickham.

152458 Children of Virtue and Vengeance (Legacy of Orïsha, #2) by Tomi Adeyemi Just started this one.
152458 Adulthood Is a Myth by Sarah Andersen caught my attention. The next two in the series are on my TBR now.

152458 So any book from Leigh Bardugo's grisha verse. It has 6 books and a collection of short stories.

152458 I'm in the addicted to YA group and they seem to open polls the first week of the month and end them at the end of the month. However they have 4 books for the group to read each month. I only joined this group at the start of the year so I'm not 100% sure that they stick to that format but you could ask the group moderators.

152458 Title: Dark Matter
Author: Blake Crouch
Have you seen the show with the same title? I Love the Sci-fi tv show Dark Matter. I thought this book inspired it so I added to my TBR list without reading the description.
Would you recommend this book? I quite enjoyed this book so if sci-fi is your thing check it out.
152458 So Dark Matter by Blake Crouch got added to my TBR list last year or so because I totally thought it inspired the tv show Dark Matter that I loved. Didn't read the description.... I just finished reading it for this challenge and I'd recommend the book. It also works for the prompt about words only on the cover, and 4 star rating.

Multiple people in this group have voted for it on the listopia page so, my self included. So I would say yes to your question.

152458 This works too. The book has a creature called a firebird in it inspiring the cover.
