Happy check-in! So it's been awhile and I have way too many books to bother listing to catch up. Needless to say I really enjoyed the ATY read-a-thon and managed a crazy amount of short books.
Mostly I've been picking comfort reads this week because my grandma had a stroke but seems to be doing okay in hospital which has thrown a wrench in all the Xmas plans.

The Cat + Gamer series works so far, I’m only two volumes in.

I think I’ll pick the kpop prompt because I had a lot of fun reading books that fit it this year and I never read the book I planned. XOXO There’s been lots of people recommending it lately.

The Salt Grows Heavy could work for the nonverbal prompt. The main character can’t talk because she doesn’t have a tongue.

It’s short and when I look at the rating average it’s over 2 stars which I had seen people suggest this book for.

I thought of a different take for me. I have a few books that I really wanted to read but watching the movie/tv show made me leave them on the tbr. The Martian is a really good option for me.

I haven’t stopped myself from reading anything for the new list. However I’ve stopped myself from reading so many things because there is a readathon in ATY that starts Saturday and all the books could be useful. ;)

I mean technically you only can't have dragons in one of the 50 prompts... so you could make the other 49 involve dragons. 😁

I might interpret that one by reading a book where watching the movie has stalled me in reading the book.

I think this is a good prompt to read Shakespeare.

Last time I read Ink and Bone as well and enjoyed the books I read. I don’t know what I’ll do next year yet.

I can read A Christmas Carol. I hate the story but it’s a short book and classic so reading it once would be okay.
