Did you enjoy the book? Yes

Why do you like this author? I like mysteries, and sometimes his are good, sometimes they aren't. But they are easy reads.

152301 I don't have a lot of friends that read the same stuff I do, so I took recommendations from this page and lots of people were recommending this book so I read this book for week 17. I really enjoyed it.

What was your destination? India

Did you enjoy the book? Would you recommend it? I did not enjoy this book, it was not one of his better books. I had a big project at work at the time I read it and read it because it was a fast read.

Do you want to read more books happening in this country? Maybe.

Did you enjoy the book? It was okay. I'm not a big fan of short stories.

Would you recommend it? Probably if you like short stories it would be okay. I'm not a fan and so I would not recommend it.

What was your favorite short story and why? Stone Mattress. It was the easiest to get drawn into.

Did you choose a mystery or a thriller? I would classify it as a mystery.

Did you enjoy the book? Would you recommend it? (feel free to link to your review) I enjoyed it, but would not necessarily recommend it. It was not one of his better books.

How were the suspense and the investigation in your book? Okay.

Were you surprised by the conclusion? No.

Did you enjoy the book? Would you recommend it? Yes. I really enjoy books by this author and hadn't read anything by her in a while and really enjoyed this book.

Do you usually read female authors? I read equally books by men and women.

For you, is there a difference between books written by men and books written by women? Not that I have ever noticed. Everyone has their own pattern of writing.

Megan, its called Larger Than Life. I remember it being short (less than 200 pages) and about the mom's life before she had the daughter.

I had been wanting to read this for a while, and am glad to have had this week to read it.

Are you interested in reading other titles written by this author? I'm not sure. I see a book of her stories that she wrote has been published, but I'm not sure I want to read it.

I agree Narma. My name is misprounced all the time. Only if people know me is it pronounced correctly. Maybe there was another reason why this book was hard to follow, and maybe you would enjoy it. I am very unfamiliar with Indian customs and names, and maybe Mr. Patterson could have used easier names for us to understanding, but when he kills them off so fast and then he only refers to them by the last name and the last names sounded so close to the first names it made it hard to keep the people straight.
