I missed the Lucy Kincaid comment you made, Melissa. I've been thinking about that often. Brennan says she hasn't ended the series but it's definitely on hiatus. Can you believe we've been reading this series for over 2 years????
Meanwhile, she's working on her other series. I highly recommend the Quinn & Costa series when we catch up. It's really good!

I wish I’d been able to finish the Maas series we started as a group. You could see her writing improving with each story. Wonderful that you’ve continued.

How the house project coming along?

I have to wonder if not starting a new series is a good or a bad thing, lol!..."
You know, Lauren, even I was surprised that I hadn’t started a new series😏 That definitely won’t last!

Thank you, Robin! It was a wonderful reading month.

I got up to date in two series:
Bishop Securities by Debbie Baldwin
Sebastian St. Cyr by C. S. Harris
2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
No.
3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
I moved forward in 6 series:
Lucy Kincaid by Allison Brennan
Kate Burkholder by Linda Castillo
Troubleshooters by Suzanne Brockmann
Tracy Crosswhite by Robert Dugoni
Colorado High Country by Pamela Clare
The Ravenels by Lisa Kleypas
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
I had a fantastic reading experience this month, with several standouts: The Trapped Girl, Past Purgatory, Marrying Winterborne, Take Me Higher and When Blood Lies. They were all stories I devoured and couldn’t put down.
5. Overall summary of your reading month?
I read 16 books this month but, most importantly, highly enjoyed every one of them. I can’t remember a better month like this. And, I again struck a balance between standalones and series reading. It was a good time.

OMG when it dawned on mean the meaning of the prologue after reading the first chapter, I had a heart attack. Loved it."
I cannot wait. Might listen to it next.

When Blood Lies by C.S. Harris, Sebastian St. Cyr #17, and it’s an historical fiction and mystery masterpiece.
my review

Shamed by Linda Castillo, Kate Burkholder #11, and it kept me on the edge as child abductions do.
my review

I’m reading Bound to Fall by Pamela Clare and listening to Nightwork by Nora Roberts.
