I think I have said this before but you remind me I have to get back to Cassandra Clare her books, not even sure what I have to read next. Do you read them in publication order?"
I have read them in publication order, but I recommend otherwise. If I was just starting out I would read them in this order:
The Infernal Devices
The Last Hours
The Dark Artifices
The Mortal Instruments

Voyager (Outlander #3) by Diana Gabaldon (20%)
Chain of Thorns (The Last Hours #3) by Cassandra Clare
New World: Inferno (New World #3) by Jennifer Wilson

Deadly Author of the Month –June
Blue Heaven by C.J.Box

Random pick by my daughter
The Glass Spare (The Glass Spare #1) by Lauren DeStefano

Cold Case Scavenger Hunt 2023 (Tall, Dark & Deadly)
Case 1, Clue 5: a word identifying any form of transportation as in bus, car, train, bicycle, etc. – The 57 Bus by Dashka Slater

Plan to Read – Series
Odd Interlude (Odd Thomas #4.5) by Dean Koontz
Rising Tides (Chesapeake Bay #2) by Nora Roberts

No
2. Did you start any new series? If so, what were they? Will you continue?
I started 3 new series:
The Last Hours by Cassandra Clare (trilogy)
Bird Box by Josh Malerman (duology)
New World by Jennifer Wilson (trilogy)
3. Did you move forward in any series (that you didn’t complete or finish)? How many?
I moved forward in the Lucy Stone series by Leslie Meier (#2). I also read books 1 and 2 in The Last Hours Trilogy and the New World trilogy. I'll have both of those done soon.
4. Any standout or 5 star books read? Why did you love it/them?
As usual I am loving my Cassandra Clare series. She really needs to continue writing in the Shadowhunter universe.
5. Overall summary of your reading month?
7 books read and 2 ahead of my yearly goal. It was a good month with some good books. I'm going on vacation in a few weeks, so I'm glad that I am ahead of my yearly goal. I haven't seen my family in 2 years, so I'm looking forward to my 3 weeks with them.
