Markings: None
Personal:
Personality:
Arrogant proud wise creative lonely educated forgiving loves-children
Arrogance is a common trait of both Gisella's home tribes, and she is no exception. She is fiercely proud of her skills, and would be extremely insulted if anyone talks rudely to her. However she doesn't hold grudges for long - after all, such people aren't worth her a place in her thoughts. A simple curse as revenge is enough.
Gisella is a wise lady, with an intelligence and creativity that is not often seen. She enjoys solitude, and is perfectly happy within a library or greenhouse. Surprisingly to some, she loves children - such pure creatures that are so open-minded and willing to learn.
History:
How Gisella's parents met was a mystery to her, but they did and eventually she was born. Her parent's didn't stay together though - they both loved their respective tribes dearly - so Gisella was taken to the Tribe of Pride and raised by her mother. Her mother, Cecily, did take her to visit her father when she was old enough, and she stayed with him for a while, learning the ways of his tribe.
She was a lonely child there - an outsider - so she had much time to herself. It was there that she found her talents - in magic and in performance. She taught herself many things, spending time in the libraries and school practising. She learnt that, by focusing on an object, she can connect with it and then puppeteer it with her mind.
She spent much of her childhood switching between the Tribe of Pride and the Tribe of Intelligence, and though she has more friends in the Tribe of Pride, she is equally at home in both of them. Joining the Ten is a way that she can fight for both her homes and test her abilities more than anything else.
Family:
Sorrel Eglantine (Tribe of Intelligence) - father, 54 y.o. gardener (keeps the Greenhouse)
Cecily Eglantine (Tribe of Pride) - 49 y.o

Sure - like they'd want more farmland down the base of the mountain. For the Intelligence tribe, I was thinking their territory is part plains part forest. They'll have only a little bit of the forest though (and there might be some item or important landmark out of their territory), and they might be invading so they can have that part of land with the item/landmark in it?
Or maybe some other thing, I don't know.
Oh ok. I was thinking mountainous for the tribe of Courage, and there'd be plenty of harsh conditions. Is that okay?
That sounds interesting :)Also, what kind of terrain are the tribes in? Like are some near a coast, in mountains, in a forest? Just wondering, because when I make my two tribes i want my pictures to be consistent :)
Basics
Full Name: Kurtis Drake Whitlock
Nickname: Kurt
Age: 20
Birthday: December 6th
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Status: Has a secret girlfriend (Princess Lyonesse Rowena Lirio)
Rank: Peasant
Allegiance: Against the tyrant
Occupation: Peasant - hunter and blacksmith
Hobbies: Making weapons, hunting (mostly using traps), whittling.
Appearance:
Image:

Height: 6'2
Weight: Average, muscular but somewhat skinny (you can feel his ribs)
Eyes: Dark brown
Hair: Dark chocolate brown
Markings: Wolf bite scars on left calf, boar tusk scratch scar on torso. Other various scars. No tattoos or piercings etc. since he doesn't have the money for it anyway.
Personal:
Personality:
Hates-the-rich dishonest protective playful curious brave skeptical somewhat-cynical
Kurtis has a deep hatred for the wealthy and is very cynical about them - they know the peasants are struggling simply to survive, but they continue to live their too-comfortable lives and even have the balls to increase the taxes. Kurtis is an ally to anyone seeking to overthrow the king. He has his fair share of secrets - his peasanthood, his girlfriend, his plans for the kings - and he's good at keeping them. He can lie with confidence.
He is a caring, protective and playful friend though, loving to see those he cares about happy. He'll do anything to protect those he loves, even make some very difficult decisions that'd sacrifice his own happiness.
History:
Kurtis hated being poor. It made him disgusted to see the nobles and the rich living such comfortable lives while he and his family had to suffer, work and still die poor. He hated the rich - they were greedy and never shared even a portion of their wealth. But Kurtis wanted to show them a little something. He wanted to show them that the peasants were people too, and they deserved more than this. He wanted to show them that they were underestimating the peasants.
So while he smelted weapons with his father, and hunted animals for his mother, he planned. How could he infiltrate the castle - or just any noble family - and change the way they worked?
So he cleaned himself up, and managed to steal the clothes of a few nobles. And he transformed his image into that of a noble. He kept his name though - the rich wouldn't care enough to remember the names of any peasants so he was safe in that area. He continues to help his peasant family, but he keeps his 'noble' possessions with him for whenever he needs to dress up.
Princess Lyonesse Rowena Lirio was his way in to the royals' favour - or so he first thought. It wasn't long after he met her that he truly did fall in love with her. He was the Princess' secret, but he had his own fair share of secrets too.
Family:
Anoran Whitlock - Father, 43 y.o. Blacksmith, bad knee
Sybelle Whitlock - Mother, 40 y.o. housewife, deaf in one ear
Edana Adrianne Whitlock - sister, 14 y.o.

Capital city sounds good but I'm not sure how it'd work. There's already quite a lot of location folders planned anyway.
She looks good :)I'll try get my character up soon - maybe start on him tomorrow. If it's okay I'll get you to look at him while he's in progress to see if your princess would like him :)
Definitely :)So do you have any guidelines for the folder creation? Do we do an overall summary of the tribe or anything?
Oh okay so some good and bad traits of the tribes(this is based on what image I've been getting from them so feel free to let me know if I'm getting the wrong idea):Faith- Religious, dedicated, strict rules, no magic allowed
Pride- Well presentable, vain, arrogant, tidy,
Courage- reckless, take vengeance, brave, strong,
Intelligence- creative, arrogant, look down on others, prefer brain over brawn, book smart but not street smart, inactive...?
Again, these are just my guesses so feel free to change anything. If intelligence still isn't okay what should I do to fix it? :)
Ohk I see. Do you think it'd be better if he's actually a noble, or maybe a peasant who's pretending to be a noble? So he'd have a home in the peasant villages but when he'd meet her in secret he'd wear noble clothes and act it. It'd be a bit more exciting I suppose and there'd be a bit more drama. But I'm fine with either :)
I'm fine with that :)I think we should remove vengeance, since it isn't quite a trait after all. But we could include vengeance in courage - maybe the tribe value those who aren't afraid to take out revenge when they are wronged.
So we'll keep courage.
Instead of vengeance I think intelligence would be good. I think they'd value wisdom and creativity - so they'd have very innovative methods and inventive people.
What do you guys think?
Hey there! Thanks for the welcome :)Those locations sound good, though vengeance and courage seem like they'd be a bit similar to me. Like they'd both be the kind of fighting type who are determined and will go after what they want fiercely. I'm thinking maybe another different trait to replace one of those, like honesty, humour, wisdom, creativity... something a bit more different? But that's up to you :)
If we keep those tribes, I'm fine with making two of the folders - but I'd prefer not to do the tribe of faith or the borderlands since I don't have many ideas for them. :)
